My foot is hurting

Post by Will Digges » 25 Jan 2006 15:42

MY foot hurts, I'm DOOMED!!!

Well recently the right side of my right foot hurts, hurts when i walk on it and hurts even more when i play footbag. It started off only a little sore but now it has gotten really bad. I tried taking 1 day off then playing and it sitll hurt after playing. Its like the bone that leads to my pinky toe and goes back to my heel. Could i have cracked a bone or something? Whats wrongggg!!! Helppp

try this.. hold it for a minute, do it as many times a day as u need to to feel better.

edit: hehe.. forgot the picture

edit again: it works best and is easier to do when your calves have been stretched out a bit.. you should feel the stretch in your foot and it might hurt

I think the best thing is to NOT STRETCH your foot as it could be a tissue, and if u stretch the tissue which is already swollen, it'd tear even more. But the pain could be coming from the bone, so just rest it and ice it, none of the stretching shit.
But we're not doctors, if ur really worried, see a docter man.

probably a bruise of some type.. you need a different type of insole to keep you from landing on that part of your foot [which i'm assuming was the cause of the pain]

take more than 1 day off. Thats not too much to ask to heal your body. Kids these days . . . acting like 1 day is too long to go without footbag :) Try 4 days! And some ice too.

It was a quick and easy cure to try. I realized I had laced mine too tight halfway through a shred last week because my feet were killing. It wouldn't hurt to try ;-)

While a good approach to being sarcastic, this is generally a ridiculous thing to be sarcastic about considering this is very, very sound advice.

I would suggest seeing a doctor.

Exactly. That's why I made my post. I wasn't making light of the situation, but Will's problem obviously can't be solved by a footbagger over the internet with a simple 'tie your shoes looser'. It just seemed like a worthless post. Of course, now that I say this, Will will probably come back and tell us that it was indeed the lacing of the shoes too tight. :P Seriously, good luck though Will. I hope it's not serious.

Your next task: Go to the bathroom.
Wash your face.
Put your shoulders hunched upwards.
Look really, really slowly upwards towards the mirror like in the movies
And slap yourself in the face.
With your game face on.
And go shred with jim.
It'll work, trust me.

My foot has been hurting for the past 6-8 months, worse with less activity. It seems the best thing for it is to shred on it and to wear my brace at night.
