It might but you'd definately look like a complete dumbass. So don't do it in public, but I don't think it would hurt if you really wanted to.

A friend of mine said how some guy bought special shoes that required you to walk like that, and as a result his vertical jump got huge. He was a basketball player, so it definately helped there. Overall, it's circumstantial though, and wouldn't be that useful for footbag anyways, in my opinion.

i disagree. i play footbag almost completely on my toes, and there is nothing better for your endurance than practicing that concept by running on your toes, especially up stairs or something like that.

The only way I run up the stairs is on my toes. Don't know what this has to do with this topic though. Oh yeah and there is a guy at my school who has to walk on his toes because of some problem with his calf muscles or something. He said his dad is the king of Germany.

Maybe someone from Germany can verify that fact? Is that kid's Dad the king of Germany?

Wouldn't jumping help with symposium moves? :)

Yeah, I thought about this too. I used to do it sometimes going up all the flights of stairs at my school.... you look more normal doing it on stairs  Sometimes I walk around the house of my toes.

Run 50 yard dashes hopping on your toes, that will be a workout. "A friend of mine said how some guy bought special shoes that required you to walk like that, and as a result his vertical jump got huge. " this was on a Seinfeld episode but they didnt help George jump.

I don't watch Seinfeld, and I'm sure my friend wasn't referencing that. I guess walking on your toes would perhaps help symposium, or which jumps in general, but it doesn't seem like it's worth it to me, anyways.

Hello I think that it does help but thats becouse I have always walked on my toes and I have a good verticle so I think there is a connection plus it helps when trying symposium tricks couse of that extra calf strength of course you get $hi+ about it but it truly helps besides I couldnt quit walking on my toes if I tried.

yes there are usually used by bastketball players and they are helping but be careful those shoes can harm your legs if you use them wrong.
