Better insoles for our shoes?

Post by sniper4life » 04 May 2006 12:54

I was wondering if anyone knows of some good insoles for shoes because lavers have really bad support and I figured why not try keeping my legs working better for longer.

Profoot 2oz Miracles aren't as tall in the heel as Spencos, so they fit better in my G6s. I've only worn them twice so I dont' have a verdict yet about how much I like them for playing footbag.

I wore the Spencos in my last pair and they helped a lot. They're the only insole I've tried, so I don't have much to say or compare to except the stock insoles. The heels are high on the Spencos, and it was kind of weird, I think.

Oh yeah, I remember the Spencos helped a lot with my shin splints. I had really had shin splints and after I got the insoles I never had them again.

I used to use 2 oz. Miracles...

While I really like how supportive these insoles are, I hate how fast they wear out! Maybe other people have had more luck with these, but the toes of these things just seem to disintegrate after a couple weeks of sessions.

I just replaced my insoles with some Dr. Scholes designed for athletics. I haven't had much of a chance to really shred with them, but just walking around in them is a big improvement.

Today I switched out my old "Air Pillow" insoles for the "2oz Miracles."
HUGE Improvement! The air pocket in the "Air Pillow" insoles had deflated so my heel was basically landing on hard plastic. They were very cheap and never really were any good.
I think these air pillow insoles cause my upper back pain..

The 2oz Miracles cost $5 and not only do they provide excellent support, but are very light, grippy, and they even made my lavers fit my feet better.

Anyway, no matter what insoles you get, Change them often!! They do wear out.
