What could I drink besides caffien

Post by Brad_R » 13 Sep 2006 19:16

I need cafien to keep myself awake will I do my homework late into the night some times. And studying late night for exams. Is there anything else I could take like ginsing or something that shouldn't induce cramps from shredding that day.

oh yeah, and when Syd Barret came out of his comma and came to visit Pink Floyd on their recording of Wish you were here, he shaved his tongue. Or so I've heard. Please correct me if I have mistued the facts. Gotta keep this pink floyd stuff straight :D

not that i have any remote clue as to what you're talking about, i can only suggest a few things.

manage your time well. go to sleep early. dont drink caffein to stay awake, thats just bad for you. eat healthy, drink water, shred after a study sesh in the early morning after getting a good night's rest.

that'd be much better than shred all day and then staying up forever and trying to study. you'll get much more done much more efficiently if you change your ways!

Hot Sauce. You can seriously stay awake with a good strong Hot sauce. You just put a little bit on your tongue at a time and it keeps you UP! Then when you want to go to sleep just drink some water to wash the taste out. Bada bing, stay up without the bad effects of caffeine.

this sounds bad, but when I came into work one day after a late night I was real sluggish, and my coworker said I should take a shot of lemon juice. It did the trick for about 20 minutes then I felt sluggish again, and did another one. I think tiredness is sometimes a mental thing, keep yourself busy and you won't realize how tired you are

Yerba Mate supposedly gives you energy and is super healthy. Look into it.

i've always heard warm milk will keep you awake for hours.

yeah, sorry...i got nothin. besides, this thread is wicked old, so new information, while being helpful to others, may not help this guy, who seems somewhat beyond help anyway.
