I'm out for awhile again! Did something weird to the lower part of knee. I'll see how it feels come friday.

"Footbag can be pretty frustrating when it's supposed to be fun. I was partly driven by this forum - practice, practice, practice... As that is true, I think someone can be too focused on progressing and training that they miss the fun aspect of it." - Bander87

I broke my toe yesterday so I don't know how long I will be out for. Has anybody broken a toe and not been able to play? How long were you out for?

Back when I was a hacker, my friend broke his toe, and he played through it. I wouldn't advise it though.Z on the rocks wrote:I broke my toe yesterday so I don't know how long I will be out for. Has anybody broken a toe and not been able to play? How long were you out for?

Your next task: Go to the bathroom.
Wash your face.
Put your shoulders hunched upwards.
Look really, really slowly upwards towards the mirror like in the movies
And slap yourself in the face.
With your game face on.
And go shred with jim.
It'll work, trust me.

kyle, there's nothing that a doctor will tell you other than the following:
1 take time off
2 strengthen the weak areas that are currently in pain
2 do less repetition of the moves you KNOW are causing the pain (for example, stepping sets are notorious hard-planters and thus often cause shin splints)
3 if you decide to play through your injury, which everyone does at some point or another, first make sure that your pain is not at its height. Wait for it to subside, and then school concepts that are easier and less abrasive/ injurious
