Again, I'm not nearly good enough at zooming to repeat that combo.

You did those pretty quick.

I think mobius preceded/followed by quick spins look pretty cool. Those looked nice.

Well I bet you could luck one out if you gave it enough tries, it looks like you have the other link down nicely.

Speaking of zooming, I think an issue for you might be the way you move your clipper when you're bringing the bag back up. Like when you're going into a zoom it looks like a normal osis until about halfway through the bag release.

It may help to focus on making the bag change direction right when you're at your lowest point in the stall. More pull than lift I guess.

I hope that's not offensive.

Challenges:
two consecutive toe spinning tricks
psw > symp swirl rpt
spinning whirl > gyro eggbeater

Thanks. I think 18 months ago I was doing inspinning stuff out of mobius, but it's always nice to rehit old challenges in HD.

After the unprovoked personal insults I endured today, your advice on zooming sounds positively flattering.

I like all of your new challenges. The real challenge though, will be to play footbag somewhere with good enough lighting/heat for me to film them. It's turned cold in Denver, and I lack a well-lit indoor spot. You may have to settle for blurry footage.

Thanks for the challenges, I appreciate them.

Thanks for the challenges guys.

Kevin: My gyro whirls needs work, and my spinning swirls are inconsistent, so this sounds like it'd be a good challenge. I'll work on it.

Mark: I don't think I've ever stepped out of mullet. I'll work on that first, and then see if I can do food out of it.

Radek: I'm trying to focus on nuke sets and spins, so I likely won't try your triple dex challenges for a bit. I might go for the gyro whirl one, but I want to lay off triples and work on spins during the offseason.

I noticed recently that my spins on both sides are less reliable than I'd like, and that my flip spin in particular has gotten very weak. To combat this, I'm going to try and re-hit some of my old spinning drills during my sessions to bring them back to speed. I had a session last week where I re-hit a bunch of challenges, and decided I'd make a video of it. I like having all of them in one place, and some of these I hadn't done in HD before. So here it is:

I accidentally left one challenge out, and since then I've filmed a couple more challenges, so I'll probably make a second challenge video sometime this week.

Like that last one ken,

This is so confusing.. ok here we go.

Left Toe Set Gyro Mirage > Right to set Gyro Mirage > Right to set spinning(pdx) mirage > left toe set spinning(pdx) mirage. [both sides if you can]

That Last PDX Mirage would be hard. =P
If you get this either side, Try with illusions

 That is confusing. I think I know what you mean. I can give it a try...it sounds do-able.

Here are some more spinning combos. I kinda just went for the challenge of linking two hard spin tricks in a row, so not as varied as the last vid:

Some quick updates:

1. My new challenge for myself is 69. I'm hoping that publically stating it as an official challenge will motivate me to get it. On that note...

2. I hit two of my longer-standing challenges: spinning mobius and mobius x2. Feels good to cross them off the list.

3. I've hit/rehit a bunch of old spinning challenges in my recent blog vids. Mostly two trick combos of hard spin tricks, but there's also 11 unique spins, and vortex-pdx drifter-drifter drill in these:

No, that sounds like a very good challenge. My flip pdx blender is pretty bad, so that's a good zooming challenge. Unfortunately, my left knee is in bad shape now, so I'm staying away from blenders with it for a while. Once it's healed up though, I'll give this a shot.

Wow, those both sound really good. Like, I know I can do both of them, but in each case it might take a couple sessions of practice to get there. That's like the definition of an ideal challenge. Thanks guys. I'll try and hit and film them in the near future.
