Nick Polini: Challenge Me (MUST INCLUDE [UNS]!)

Post by F[uns]tylin' Eclectic » 28 Nov 2010 19:31

OK, here's the deal... I'd like you to challenge me (duh)... but THERE'S A CATCH... I want every challenge to have some (at least one) [uns] (or weird) trick(s) in them. It can be just one thrown into a string or you can give me a whole string of [uns]...

My [uns]/weird tricks consist of:

 Sole <3
 Flapper Stall <3
 Front Sole Stall
 Flapper Kick
 Knee Bump
 Knee Stall
 Rubber Knee
 Pimpin' Sets (Pixie Knee Bump)
 Stumpin' Sets (Stepping Knee Bump) (not sure if this is the actual name, but it sounds good to me)
 Head Stall
 Forehead Stall
 Tippy-Toe Stall
 Neck Catch
 Lap Catch
 Cloud Kick
 Cloud Stall
 Under-Jaw Stall
 Heel Stall
 Xbd Heel Stall
 Rolls (Calf/XBD/Thigh/Outide/Back)
 Squeeze/Pincher
 Anchor
 Dragon
 Stallberger
 Pendulum
 Pedulous

 And if you have any more unusual surfaces you can think of, let 'em fly!

Here's my blog, so you can get an idea of where my game is:

http://www.modified.in/footbag/viewtopi ... highlight=

I will copy and repost the challenge when complete.

Let your mind run wild and shoot me some weird @$$ Shiite...

No idea is too weird.

Youve been hitting some sweet stuff recently. Here are some 2 move repeats that you should try and hit of varying difficulty. You should be able to hit some now but some might take a little work.

pixie muted far dragon> pdx illusion rpt
stepping far dragon> sidewalk rpt
ducking flapper> diving dragon rpt
rev swirling dragon> ducking butter rpt
symposium whip> ducking dragon rpt
pendulous same rake> pendulous op rake rpt
swixie ss butter> stepping zipper rpt
phasing near dragon> stepping far pickup rpt
flapper set ripwalk> swirling flapper rpt
fairy far butterfly dragon> blizzard rpt
(dragon,flapper) set sidewalk> (dragon,flapper) set ripwalk rpt

Thanks for these suggestions. Some cool stuff in here. A handful of it is within my reach too. I'll be sure to try some of these when I come back to footbag after the short break I need to take from it.

Took me about 30 minutes, but I hit it and sealed it.

Good one, Ian!

Hit the last part (knee bump> legovering heel) on web-shred with Tony.

I'll be trying some more of these soon. Sorry I've been lacking.

I should probably update this a little bit. I hit Mat's challenge a while back, a few weeks after he posted it. And I'll take that new challenge, Nick. I like that one a lot.

I've hit it both sides, not BSOS. I'll try to get that soon now that my flip spin has improved.

Not yet, but I've been schooling 4/5 parts of that link and feel very comfortable with legovers, pixie> kneebumps. I hit switch heel delay a few times on bs the other day too. Thanks for reminding me of this one.

However, everyone please keep suggesting me weird links. I am in a massive drilling mode lately and I feel like it will pay off in the future, so if you suggest a link now, even a slightly more difficult link, I will try to hit it when I'm pretty satisfied with my game. When this happens, I'd like to get all or a lot of these suggestions on video. I know I could hit some of these suggested links now, but I want to wait until my style, form, and consistency are nearly perfect.

Edit: Tony: When you say "Whip", do you mean rev whirl?
