i dont really understand the whole "emo" thing

its pointless

why would you want to be all sad and girly gross looking and cut yourself and tell yourself you have such a hard life when they most likly have a roof over there head , no bills to pay and not that much to worry about when theres little poor kids who are happy to get one meal a day, its not rational and pretty facking stupid if you ask me.

as far as I can figure, here's the problem with emo;

it's a cross between a goth and a romantic. that is to say, a cross between romantics and ex-romantics. Seems like the term emo is an oxymoron

According to that funny ass vid, emo people play old skool nintendo. I play old skol nintendo and i'm not even close to being emo. I agree with what footjoe said.

It sounds to me like you all most likely have no idea what most emo's are like. Neither do I but I highly doubt they sit around moping all the time. i also don't see anything wrong with the way they dress. I wouldn't dress that way but if they want to then good for them. And whining about your life is a general teenage activity (even a lot of adults do it) not just an emo thing...

but seriously that video was hilarious.
