Addicted to World of Warcraft?

Anyone else like me in that they are compelled to play this damn game waaay to often? Still don't have the x-pac but as soon as I have the money I will. Been playing since around mid 2005 and I've got a 60 as well as several 40+ characters. Yeah I'm a loser.

But you guys should like this: my two main characters are named Ripwalk (60 Priest) and Burriest (54 Hunter) so far no one has gotten the reference . I'm on Firetree if any you are ever around send me a tell.

I bought WoW but got bored about a week into it. I cancelled my subscription and uninstalled it. I just wish I could get my 20 dollars back for the game

I liked the game but couldn't handle the lame features such as the 6 hour patch download, my realm being full and not being able to play my character or transfer him, I had plenty of errors where it wouldnt let me make a character for 3 hours. Blizzard used to be my favorite back in the starcraft, diablo days, now they just piss me off.

Maybe one of these days ill give it a second chance.

sounds like a bad run of luck with it, the only bad thing about it is the patch because, they add onto it every tuesday, but if you dl it once, none of the other ones are near that big. When i finally gave up the game i had a lvl 45 dwarf hunter and a 20 tauren drood, and i played on doomhammer

Oh hells yes it was. I played that from Beta till patch 1.10. Thats about 3.5 years for the uninitiated and actually recently I started playing again albeit very casually. It's really unfortunate that that game has such bad network capabilities through battle.net as it's the only way to play it really.

Oh and smokefree that sounds like a really bad string of luck with WoW. Most patches only take 10-30 minutes to download. That 6 hour beast you were dl'ing was every patch from release to now. Thats painful buts it should be a one-time-shot (with cable or better connection otherwise your SOL). Also if you couldn't make characters my suggestion would be to find a less populated server you'll also have noticeably less lag on such a server.

Tried the 10 day trial one time. Enjoyed it a lot, but not enough to pay monthly. Tried it again a few months ago, but stopped caring after 2 days.
