At first, I thought "duel personality" implied something along the lines of Yu-Gi-Oh card battles.

hello everyone. i regret to inform you that this challenge is over. mods have deleted my "dual" account, and therefore discontinued the mysterybagger game. i am not angry at all at the mods, for emily warned me of its emminence as soon as i began... apparently i break a few rules by not showing my name in my signature, though that is true for many accounts on modified. but i digress... i just wish i could have gotten three people to solve it before it ended instead of just one. oh well.
yes, i was the mysterybagger.
footbag goes on.

There is no rule about names in signatures. It is a polite request we now make when new users join, because the majority didnt want it as a rule a while back.
Just clearing that up.

At the risk of turning this into another mod bashing thread, I feel many would agree there have been numerous incidences where deleting accounts would be for the betterment of modified, yet they had not been acted upon.
In this situation you have a nice guy creating a game that offers free footbags under an account which he said would forever disappear after three prizes had been given out.
It should be pretty obvious to all the reasons why multi-accounting is banned, and I don't think an innocent game like this is one of those.

Anyway, considering that I'm the only winner of this game/contest, I felt that it is only right that once I receive my bag from Cale, I would go ahead and sponsor this bag at the next East Coast tournament I go to as a prize. It will be up for grabs for anyone competing then and there.
I've already discussed this decision of mine with Cale through PM.
It was really unfortunate that this contest ended prematurely, because I had a lot of fun participating. Being an avid fan of Detective Conan, Kindaichi Shonen no Jikembo, and a whole variety of japanese mystery dramas, this topic piqued my interest in playing "detective." There really should be more fun games such as this amongst the freestyle footbag community, especially if there is a stitcher or footbag supply/distributor that is willing to do something just like this.
I suppose if there were another modified contest that involved an alternate user account (sans signature), it should be cleared with a moderator or administrator first before starting it. That's just my opinion.

Does this sort of game need to be played using a multiple account? You could run a similar game in other ways without breaking any rules. Put someone in charge of it, they can start a thread for the comp, and drop hints as to the mysterybagger's identity in the thread either as vague and subtle comments, details about the mysterybagger's identity or links to threads in which the mysterybagger may have dropped a hint in a post.

Ollie, do you really think that having a set of rules regarding forum activities which are then ignored by the moderators arbitrarily, would be a good thing for the forums or for the reputation of the moderation staff?

i misunderstood you. i thought you meant the word "multiple" as in "many", like as in plenty of other acoounts have been deleted. i misunderstood you, and i apologize.
that said... could you explain to me the reasoning behind deleting multiple accounts?
still not angry... just dont believe that "mysterybagger" should have been deleted.
