The 3 ball championships are held every year as part of the IJA festival. The next one will be held in Reno Nevada in January. Videos to download? Here are some cool videos go to
Jasongarfield.com

Jason is arguably the best juggler in the world and there is some sick juggling videos on there.

Check out juggling.org that is the juggling database lot's of info can be found on there.

I only found a couple on juggling.org, and am not sure as to what i should be practicing before some other trick.

Heres a really nice site. Its helped me. My problem is actually understanding whats happening. I see it, but my brain doesn't absorb it. I have to somehow change the visual code, to brain code so i can move my arms right.

I CAN'T GET MILLS MESS.

Burkes Barrage is just consecitive takeout with a backward chop through the pattern with each hand. One ball always stays in the middle switching hands and the other two n.ever leave the hand they are chopping with.

I like rubestiens revenge, Clawing is fun too. How come juggling isn't as fun as footbag?? It just seems like cheating when using your hands.. If juggling was as fun as footbag to me, i would be juggling constantly because it doesn't take as much out of you as hack does.

P.S. stickman rules.

maybe you just answered the question, cause it doesnt take as much out of you, so it doesnt have as much meaning, you know footbag is gonna drain you so it has that much more challenge, and appeal

juggling always has its place especially with the advent of injuries

For me Juggling is as much fun as footbag. There are more props and possibilities. Also the fact that you can do it longer is much more pleasing. Instead of a 2 hour footbag session you can have a 4 hour juggling session. You can learn tricks quicker and there are more of them. I love footbag but the art of juggling outways ( for me atleast )the art of footbag.

"Good clubs will run you $100-120"

this is not true. i'm a pretty damn good juggler  and i get my clubs from http://www.renegadejuggling.com . you can pick up profesional, hand made clubs for 25 bucks a piece. i love juggling. it's great. i've talked about this before... just recently i taught myself chops and a hail marry pass. i don't really know the names of the other shit i can do. i do a lot more take and replace than anything else though...
i scream you scream we all scream for... footbag?

Learning new juggling moves is harder for me than learning footbag moves. I can't visualize how to do juggling tricks that I cant already do, but I can visualize just about anything that is possible with a footbag. I juggled for a couple of hours because my ankle is sore from footbag (too many paradox and toe drifters I think) and my arms got really sore. On the up side I learned what I think is called "The Exchange" -- A variation on the Machine, and somewhat learned Wells Waltz. :)

Juggling is no Footbag though.

Juggling is the bomb!

If you're having trouble conceptulizing 3 ball tricks just try a simple 5 ball cascade
Any if you don't think juggling is as fun as footbag because of the lack of physical exertion go play with cigar boxes for a couple of hours and then see how you feel.

Juggling has been around for thousands of years and encompasses a multitude of different props. There are thousands of professionals making their living performing juggling. The footbag community could learn a lot from their juggling counterparts. I myself, along with Matt Baker took the concept of workshops that we got from juggling festivals and incorporated it into the World Footbag Championships this year.

Footbag is really just another form of object manipulation, just like juggling.

I totally know what you guys mean. I see a juggling move, and scratch my head. You see it, you can see whats happening, but i can't do it. What i have to do is slowly go through what happens during the jugging move, and do it step by step, very slowly till i get it.

By the way - i got Burke's Barrage down.

The reason you do not see a lot of the juggling tricks is because one there are more concepts and props than footbag. Two you are probably not as emersed in it you as you are footbag. With footbag you can see the moves you cannot do because you spend time being emersed in it. If you did the same with juggling you would be able to understand basic concepts such as multiplex, penguins, chops, take aways, pretzel, shower etc etc etc. If you can't see a new patern try doing a footbag move with 3 balls like blur or terage or anything with dexes.

The price of clubs will run anywhere from 75-125 my bad. I got six super nice dube phatboyz for $180 that's $90 a set. You can always get juggling props from the footbag crew at http://www.flyingclipper.com they will cut you a deal for being a footbag player. Peace

This is one of the reasons im not down with it.. who wants to carry around a bag of props and clubs and lug that stuff all around??? Not to mention the cost. With footbag its simple you have a bag and some shoes.....

footbag is more inviting to me. Its a hack circle people are suppose to join... If i see a guy juggling alone whos good im not gonna ask him if i can juggle with him. Ill just watch. If i see a guy playing hack.. no matter if they are a pro or just a hacky slacker, I know I can go up to that person and kick with them. cause thats the object of the sport.

There is also the comedy factor in juggling, which I like watching, but wouldn't want to learn... everyone knows that in good juggling, the comedy aspect is a big part of it, and most jugglers want to aquire that into thier stuff... This is another reason why i dont like it, because I dont want to be a comedian, I just want to shred. Especially if that involes wearing the least amount of clothing than anybody. HAHA hey zerbe did u have to use pliars to get thoses butt huggers off at worlds? Not that i can talk shit ive never made it to finals....

If juggling is more of an art than footbag, then footbag is more of a sport than juggling. To me sports are funner than arts.. ide rather shoot hoops than draw, etc...
