Winners Competition :)

Post by Jeremy » 26 Oct 2005 19:04

Hey I had an idea.

How about a "winners" sick 3 comp - where the winning combos from each round of open get put in the one video and we vote on that.

Here are the combos I think:

Comp 1 (nov 2004)
Jeremy O'Wheel:
Shooting Mirage > Sailing Mirage > Pixie Torque

Comp 2 (nov 2004)
Jeremy O'Wheel
Shooting Mirage > Phoenix > Superfly
http://www.footbag.org/media/303/JeremySick3two.WMV

Comp 3 (Jan 2005)
Derek Vandall
Fury > Pixie Paradon > Blurriest

Comp 4 (Mar 2005)
Anssi Sundberg - Spinning Whirl > Paradox Torque > Paradox Blender

Comp 5 (mar 2005)
Anssi Sundberg (scorpions tail>spanishfly>tomahawk)

Comp 6 (April 2005)
Jorden Moir (Dundas, Ontario, Canada) - Bedwetter - Fairy Diving Whirl - Gyro Symposium Torque (Big Apple)
http://www.modified.ca/footbag/viewtopic.php?t=9077

Comp 7 (may 2005)
Jorden Moir (Dundas, Ontario, Canada) Blurry Whirl > Lawnmoir (Slicing Infinity) > Tomahawk
http://www.modified.ca/footbag/viewtopic.php?t=9280

Comp 8 (june 2005)
Honza Weber (Prague, Czech Republic) Barroquescrew > Food Processor > Superfly
http://www.modified.ca/footbag/viewtopic.php?t=9604

Comp 9 (July 2005)
Phil Morisson (Christchurch, New Zealand) Flurry > Symposium whirl > Ripstien
http://www.modified.ca/footbag/viewtopic.php?t=10045

Comp 10 (September 2005)
Jorden Moir (Dundas, Ontario, Canada) Frontside Janiwalker > Blurry Flux > Mind Bender
http://www.modified.ca/footbag/viewtopic.php?t=10785

So that would make 10 combos to vote from - which is a nice number too. I hope I haven't missed anything. Somebody would need to make a video of those combos too. :)

Nice idea and props finding all of those (or making them?) but I don't get it, do you want us to download each one of them and vote for the best one?

Really cool idea i think that should be done every year in like december? Maybe like the vid for the 24th December in that idea about a christmascalendar.

No I want somebody to get the all those combos mentioned and make it into one video "the winners video" and then we'll vote once that video is made. I could do it but you'd have to wait about 3 or 4 weeks since I'm way too busy at the moment. It would just be a regular comp but you'll have seen all the combos before.

Ahh, I see. If u like I can set up the event with voting pages? Or would you rather it just be a poll to see who is the best?
