New Online Competition Idea

Post by Guest_2 » 14 Aug 2006 21:06

After hitting a 6 contact string in pants and inebriated for some folks at a party Saturday night, I thought-"I own those moves! Drunk & in pants!"

So...I was thinking of a new online competition idea that sometimes already takes place in jams.

Drunken shred in pants online competition!

Here are the requirements that you should please add to!

1) One must consume at minimum 6 drinks [or more/less depending upon the person]

2) Must wear pants

3) Level of play requirement: Don't play under yourself.

4) 4 contact minimum

And the judging will just be people listing whose was best

What do you guys think?!

Firstly, please don't use retarded like

Secondly, I just thought it would be fun thing to do :-)

But I no longer consume inebriating beverages [as of today ;-)] so, this idea is either left to float to the depths of last posts of the online comps or be kept alive by a few party people.

Sorry, but after 6 drinks minimum, and pants, the only thing people are going to be hitting are bops and boring things...I'm not going to waste my time recording trash and posting it. The best part about drinking and playing is exactly what it is...drinking and playing, it's fun to do, but watching it is...mind numbing.

Hey John, remember when we tried to shred drunk up in Pittsburgh? Haha we couldn't hit jack, but I skooled you on the bench press!

Josh I would watch this vid if you had it. However I don't have the alcohol tolerance to be able to not pass out after six drinks (just ask Zilla or Matt Cross I was wasted after 2 pints of IPA at the US Open). This wouldn't be a contest just a "post your drunken string" activity for fun. I don't think there should be a drink minimum, just whatever it takes to get you drunk (more than buzzed) so your inebriation is visible on camera.

Lol. Sounds like fun to me! I think the requirements should be something like:
-21+ years of Age
-Inebriated

Anz is right.
The finnish people would own. They are drunk all the time anyway.

in my opinion its a funy idea and probably make some funny videos, but in a sense its kind of a bad idea because to me if a new comer to modified see's the vid he might think the sport is less professional and might evently be dimeaning to the sport, but thats just me.
Your next task: Go to the bathroom.
Wash your face.
Put your shoulders hunched upwards.
Look really, really slowly upwards towards the mirror like in the movies
And slap yourself in the face.
With your game face on.
And go shred with jim.
It'll work, trust me.

I feel that gauging someone's "drunkness" on on vid would be very hard to do. Acting is easy. To say someone would not put a vid in of them hitting a 7 add move and saying they were drunk at the time so they could rank higher is preposterous. I belive that unless we had a breathalizer test done right before the tricks were filmed then the comp would be invalid.

Instead perhaps we should have a "odd clothes to shred in" online comp. An example would be: a mechanics outfit, or business suit, or even anz's vid of him in a soldiers garb (that was funny dude). Of course to go with the outfits matching shoes should be required, so unless your playing in a footbaggers outfit, lavers and other moded shoes would not be allowed. Like anz's vid, military outfit = combat boots.

Hey anz, were you in the army or was that somebody else's uniform?

... There's no prize or anything... What would be the point of someone "cheating" and claiming to be drunk? And if they did "cheat" who cares? The whole point of this thing is to see funny drunk people try to footbag.

He's in the army.
