Post by Fade2black » 09 Jan 2011 08:24

Sorry it sucks guys, as I did the editing myself.

But a big congratulations to the winner, and the announcement for event 3 should be tomorrow ;)

Good luck with the rest of the season, and thanks to everyone who is helping promote, sponsor, and participate in the events!

Caught it on Youtube earlier. Being a subscriber has it's benefits.

Great stuff from everyone, and huge props to Shred Global for getting this set up.

Whhhhhaat

That was a giant "What just happened" video. I definitely didn't expect those particular top three, however. Way to go.

I've got kind of an oddball question about the competition parameters. I was under the impression that the only thing that would "count" was 2 consecutive unusual contacts, and whatever came between them. But the video shows several people doing strings of several unusuals. If I had thought that a longer string of consecutive unusuals was acceptable, I would have made a different submission (i.e. this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XJMcurv7J0). I did notice, however, the winners all had more or less the same understanding I did, but like 5x the difficulty.

Either way, looking forward to the next one! My goal is to not take last place. 8O

Sorry Derrick...

Any issues with the rules or the expectations is 1120% my bad...

The idea was 3 contacts... with both catches being on an unusual...

The rules however did not come across that way, and I take full responsibility for that :(

Bad boy, Dale! No footbag for you today! (just kidding)

LOL, it was a bit of an unusual competition, eh? Still waiting for the announcement of the next one...
