Hit two combos, get a free bag UPDATE: combos are easier!

Post by Nathan » 18 Jan 2012 10:15

Hello modified, welcome to a new competition for a free Pipenbag.

Since I don't want to judge another close contest again, I'm making the rules for this one super simple. Hit the following two combos on video, be the first one to post your youtube link in this thread, and win the bag. Past comp. winners can't win again.

1. wauxpin > toe set gyro flail

To clarify: the gyro in the second trick should be the opposite direction as the gyro in the first trick, kind of like toe zooming. wauxpin is butterfly bailed to gyro toe.

2. symp drifter > ps dlo

The bag in question is the girly looking one on the left.

Have at it.

Does toe set gyro flail start and end on the same toe, or different toes? Or to put it another way, if it starts on right toe, do you dex with the right leg or left leg?

And for backside tombstone, the second dex is symple, correct?

start right toe, dex left leg, end right toe.

yup.

Tony, sorry, I know these are hard. I'm planning on having a competition once a month, and some of them won't be about hard tricks.

This looks fun. I'll be happy if I can even get one of the combos, but I'll still give it a whack

I was going to on Saturday, but then I forgot/got distracted with other goals. I'll try the next time I play.

Combos are now easier. I took the uptime component off the first trick in both combos.

Man...after my last session, I was at peace with giving up. But now both combos look a lot more feasible, so I guess I'll give them a shot tomorrow.

Jeez...toe gyro flail is tougher than I thought it'd be. I also struggled with the PSDLO one, but managed to get it:

I'll try the gyro flail one again during my next session, but I'm not optimistic about it. If I don't fluke it next session, I'm likely throwing in the towel.

Good luck to everybody else getting these.

What's your point Ken :D

Anyway, I managed to nail the combos. Now I know I can't win the bag because I won the last comp, but since nobody has been able to hit the combos yet I decided to post.

The Wauxpins could be more spinny, I know.

Oh, and the bag i used is the Pipenbag from the previous comp.

First of all, that was awesome Aleksi. So glad someone hit these combos.

Since no one else has been successful, and I still want a new winner, I have an idea: Aleksi picks two new combos to replace the ones I suggested. First person to hit HIS combos, wins.

Great idea! From the top of my head:

Far Double Pick Up > Quantum Illusion

Pdx Flux > Far Double Pick Up (must the other side Double Pick Up)

If somebody were to hit Nathan's original combos, would they still get the bag? Or are those off the table now?
