my footbag collection.

Post by calemccoy » 01 Dec 2008 20:59

well, ive basically lost 80 percent of my desire to play footbag. i really only enjoy playing casual hacky sack anymore, and its rediculous that i have so many bags. if you stitched one of these bags, please dont be offended, its not that i dont like them. i love every one of the bags i have. i just dont play anymore. i figure someone else would be better off to have them then me. most of them are old, and almost all used, so im knocking down the prices pf those. just post if you want one of the bags, and if you really want a bag someone else has claimed, make a better offer than whats posted, but i dont really want this to be an auction type thing. anyways, here they are.

1.brand new cale bag. 25 dollars.

17. sold
18. ancient waylon. not playable. cool pattern, used by ken somolinos. 3 dollars.
19. ancient pengpeng? definitely playable, and sweet colors. 5 dollars.
20. again, one of my first bags. realy only interesting if youre a collector. 3 dollars.
21. sold
22. one of lon smith's old bags. i think its a carol, but dont take my word for it. super fun to play with, but real fragile. 5 dollars.
23. sold
24.sold
25. empty andrew dunford, with holes. could play very well if filled and patched. 3 dollars.
26. one of two 12 panels i ever made. zero gather. 3 dollars.

28. one of lon smith's old bags, a kenga 32. again fun to play, but fragile. 3 dollars.
29. same as 22.
30. i really didnt want to part with this one, but its so incredible, and i know i can get some money from it. the only spike bag ever made by myself, and with the longest spikes ive ever seen. (each around 3 inches long). brand new, so cool to kick. 30 dollars.

each price needs to add 1 dollar for shipping. if you buy 3 bags (any price), free shipping. there may be a few more coming if i find them around my house/car. ready, go.

Hey, I would be down to pick up three or four of the cheaper/more broken in bags. Looking to make some sort of round deal? I'm don't really care which bags. Send me a PM or something. Ideally, I'm interested in the ones you're putting up for around 8-10 dollars. Note that I'm going off the assumption that those are the ones that are fairly broken in but still have some of their structural integrity left. :-p

Dibs on #2. I still want a new Cale bag. :) Don't want to sound like I'm rushing, but I've got no bag atm, so I probably am. PM me a final price and confirmation and I'll send money out.

It's sad you're moving on, but I guess everyone hits a point where it's just time. Maybe someday you'll find some inspiration and be able to come back.

I don't know how many mods are on here, but I accidentally posted this post as a topic here in For Sale, which needs to be deleted. So sorry.

Sharn, just pm a mod about your mistake.

Cale, it's sad for me to hear that you're interest in footbag is dwindling. Hopefully in the trade bag that I will make for you will invoke an untapped inspiration and desire to love footbag more. I have to apologize for my inactivity: university has me overturning what I want to do, and with the dwindling job market, that very notion is having me frantic over the simpliest things. I will post pictures of all of my fabrics this weekend, I promise.

Will you be at NYJ? PM me.

Thanks for the confirmation. I was starting to get worried so I came and checked, but if you sent it on the tenth it still has a few days anyway.

Thanks cale, look forward to getting the bag. :)
