How about two big symposium moves with huge sets to a small, spinny dex move?Matt Cross wrote:mullet to spender is huge. That was really cool seeing you go from a big symposium move with a huge set to a small, spinny dex move.

Damn Ken, those looked so good! The mullets were about the same on each side and the spender looked really controlled and quick. Major props on the beast

Thanks for the props everybody! When this thread was created, I remember wondering if I'd ever post a full beast in here. Given how long I'd been playing, and how most people who hit beasts do so way earlier in their career (to say nothing of age), I knew there was a chance my window had closed. I'm really glad that wasn't the case.

The one thing I've found which is true of fearless and beastly, is that sometimes the only way you can hit a combo is by making each link as energy efficient as possible. This is especially true the further into the combo you go...if your first link wasn't efficient, your chances of getting the next link drops precipitously.PoisonTaffy wrote:Wow, you made it look way easier than it actually is due to your efficient and controlled movements.
No, but they do make a lot more sense to me now:Matt Cross wrote: 2) what happened!? you got the hang of beasts now? .

Does fury get xdex? If so, then fusion is a six, since it has the exact same amount of dexterity. You can't lose xdex by rewinding a trick.Erik Chan wrote:Is fusion considered a 6?
You can also think of fusion the way you think of omellette. If the second dex in omellette gets xdex, then fusion gets it too, since the second dex in fusion is just as "full" as in omellette. If that sounds confusing, then ask yourself: "after the second full dex in omellette is completed, what happens if I tack on an extra butterfly?" You get fusion.
Make sense?

But if the omellette is scrambled can it still be a full omellette? Does the fusion, between the omellette and the butterfly make it more delicious? A crispy omellette seems more enjoyable... perhaps with a side of yogurt.
Props Ken! How many mullets in a row can you hit?

Wow, Congratulations Ken. It seems obvious now that you have dialed in all the basic components of your higher add moves. It is not surprising that you are hitting multiple beasts and I look forward to seeing you use your newly acquired skills and continue to push to the next level. You have inspired me to start drilling the components I will need for a beast. My first options might be something like Shooting butterfly>Spinning ducking p whirl>marius, or locomotion>mullet>spinning 6 add whirl either a rake or a duck. Thanks again for the inspiration and DAMN you are on fire!!!!
