Do you mean stepping same side, or blurry? I've never heard of anybody hitting stepping ss, although I'm sure lots could. I hit blurry back in 2005, although didn't hit it very well - very dragged osis. I'm not sure how dragged an osis can be to still be able to say that you hit a move but this was definitely about as dragged as an osis can be :P

Thanks Jeremy. And yes, I meant same side. I've seen quite a few people hit ps torque, so I kind of figured that blurry has been hit. But I've never seen anyone hit same side or even mention this trick before.

Yeah, I hit it for the first time about a year ago. Hard trick, props for getting so close to it! I think Jorden said he hit this in '06 or something?

I'm almost sure that it was hit before, but it's a really cool trick: Ingyro Symposium Whirl 8)

So does that trick start and finish on the same clipper?

Yes it does, and I don't plant my dexing foot at all.
It's like Whirlwind, but direction of the spinning is different :) !

I've been doing a trick for a couple years and wonder if it's an invention. it's like a far legover but replace toe with sole. I've done gyro/spinning/ducking/diving/spin duck as well. it has a refraction-ish approach with the hip swivel

I came close to the far legover variant a few months back. Props, the other versions sound sick.

I bet that Czech guy who does sole blender and stuff could hit that stuff.

edit; apologies for making a speculative post, but obviously if I was really sorry I wouldn't have made the post. I am sorry that my post upsets people though, but obviously not very sorry. I am also sorry that this is the worst apology ever, although you can probably judge the sincerity of this additional apology based on the first apology.

Haven't heard of that concept in a long long time. Very cool move imo.

The far version was hit in Melbourne in 2005 by Brendan G, but as far as I know none of the harder varieties.

Out of a duck just seems insanely hard, can you make a video?

Fusing Muted Dragon, if I invented that then I want to name it MJ, in honor of Michael Jackson passing away today.

1. Cool trick, props.
2. I appreciate the gesture to MJ, but do we really need to name tricks like this? Both fusing set and dragon are very rare by themselves, much less together. I'm of the opinion that only downtime components or very common tricks should get moves.

Anyway, props on the trick.

Yes, but in this case, Sam, Brian and I were shredding and then someone shouted that Michael Jackson died. This was the trigger for us to decide that someone needed to name a trick after him, and I was the only one able to invent something because of that weird combination of components. I figured the strange mix of concepts paralleled MJ pretty well.

There are no rules about trick names, who can name them, etc. Call it whatever you like. Maybe it will stick, maybe it won't.

That's not necessary. I invented GYBAS today.
