(Current) Sets List

Post by bigdirtyfoot » 11 Aug 2004 06:54

Note: I couldn't edit Chris Holden's original post in the "Sets List 2004" thread so I figured I started a new thread... but if any moderators want to merge this into that thread, I guess that's fine.

So yeah I worked on this for about an hour or two because I noticed that Chris Holden's list wasn't edited or updated or anything. This includes all the sets that were posted in that thread, and I've organized them into (I think) better groups. Also, it's easier to read. Hope you all enjoy it. Feel free to add more sets, and I'll edit them in!

9. Jolimont (Symposium Whirling Swirling)
That's the best set name ever! Lets put Ales in charge of renaming all moves!

missing
bs symposium frantic - beta frantic - pixie wanton - pixie symposium quamtum.

Also I think warp should be labeld as either flailing atomic or fronside symp omlette set. I don't think you can really call a set a symp eggbeating set - eggbeater isn't a set.

And Slaying isn't FrontSide Symposium Sailing, because it can't be... It is Beta Sailing = Pixie Flailing = Pixie Symposium Atomic
and Jobs is: Toe > Same In [DEX] > (no plant while) Op Out [BOD][DEX] >
And in Blurry next Dexterity does have to be paradox.

Okay thanks guys. I did this for everyone because I wanted something that was easier to understand; the order of the other one and the appearance just made it confusing to me. I'll update this when I get back from lunch. Also, is Jolimont the official name? You'll notice some just have technical names; what are their nontechnical names, if they have them. Alright, I'll update this in a bit.

Okay, I updated the list. I don't know who named Spinning Nuclear... anyways, I was wondering... there are some jobs missing for some sets, that I just wasn't sure about, or that I overlooked  . Could anyone help with those? That would be great, thanks!

EDIT: Oh Golly, I forgot: thanks for all the praise too. I spent a few hours making this list turn out right, and I really appreciate it.

Yeah, Felix Zenger hit it, but I'm not sure if he named it as Radiative. That's why I'm curious.
I'll ask him tomorrow.

Don't forget James' popping set.

clip>op out>>

He called it hopping set, but popping is way cooler so I am trying to be the broken link in the telephone game.

haha yeh thats Bubba set!

im wondering if your description for Wontomic is a bit confusing? there needs to be some kind of punctuation to make it clearer, or just cut out one description... because 'Toe Shooting Symposium Quantum Atomic' set sounds like a 4 dex set!
Symposium Quantum Atomic is probably more accurate than toe shooting, because toe shooting isnt symposium, is it? but there may be some other way to describe it
nitpicking i know... but it does help with clarity and usefulness of the list :)

7. Pimpy (Pixie Same Knee Bump)
TOE > SAME IN > SAME KNEE BUMP >

Does the knee bump have to be uptime? Or does it still count if downtime?

I don't think it matters. I've seen it both ways, but i think Jaun (rangel??) invented it.

Pimping has the knee bump pretty much downtime; i think it would be waaay to hard to pixie set then knee bump it while still going up
