Laroche wrote:Why is there never any Jason Crook footage on the net? I've only ever seen him on lions den, and that footage was pretty badass, but Ive heard hes gotten WAY WAY better then that... I would LOVE to see a Crook special, 5-7min long or something.
Me and the rest of the FTB from Highland Park IL (Eric Siegel, Reid Strellner, Mike Matson) went out to San Diego in June to visit a friend and had 2 awesome sessions with Rich Abshire and Jason Crook. Crook has one of the most distinct flowing styles I've ever seen. His paradox torques, paradox drifters, and butterfly swirls look so controlled and automatic. We got video of him hitting food processor to fog and blurry drifter to jani walker among other sick runs.

Anyway, we got very good footage of both Abshire and Crook on the DVD we made from last summer called Bag Boyz, along with great footage of Scott Davidson, Greg Nelson, and of course ourselves. If anyone wants a copy go ahead and shoot me an e-mail. I could probably find someone with a DVD burner and make a few copies.

That would probaply be Torque ending in Blender, not Swirl.

And BTW I don't believe that anyone has hit Blurry Double Blender since anyone hasn't hit Pdx Whirr.

Cod wrote:And here is the point. I know it's very very probably he hit Quantum Diving Butterfly. With Weaving it isn't harder but many people simply don't use Ducking ss. Maybe he also. I'm waiting for a post written by somebody from Germany 8).
ok. cod pm'd me because this question (page #2) was for me.
the stuff i hit with quantum ducking so far:

quantum ducking mirage (alpine toeblur)
alpine toe ripwalk
quantum ducking legover
quantum diving butterfly

for those of you who arent sure about that changing-ducking-to-diving-after-quantum-moves problem: i dont change it. quantum ducking butterfly is the phoenix one.

props on the quantum weaving stuff. i think i'll give it try next session. havent tried to duck quantum for a while
... but i will keep you informed

People have hit pdx symple blender (and harder versions like spinning) - I havne't heard of anyone actually hitting it symposium - I think that requires too fast footwork. A few people have hit symposium blender - but it's really a symp whirling osis (set>downtime)

people have also hit atomic mobius - I guess you could call it tapping - that's Irish Cream - it was first hit in like 2000 I think. Pixie irish cream is definitly hittable as well.

Felix Zenger has hit Gyro Blurtigo and almost any other gyro huge move you can think of including Gyro Fog. I asked him months ago if he has hit gyro guantlet and he said he hasn't tried it but it shouldn't be that hard, I guarentee it's been sealed by now.

i always took Furious to mean Barraging Paradox... does that make Flurry a Furious Legover? i would think not because its like a Far Legover with two extra dexes.
