FIRST! OMG OMG :P

Downloading...

Okay. Well, first off I really wish I could've helped you get to the bottom of the editing issue. The frame rate was so poor that it was difficult to watch. Secondly, the vid was a bit too long. A 9 minute drill vid is pretty hard for most shredders to watch. Also, no music. There was an incessant buzzing noise going on, that coupled with the choppy frame rate spoiled the magic.

Well, now that that's out of the way, props on the shred! Looks like you've got a pretty decent control over tiltless right now. The consecutive infinities and oses were also very impressive. Honestly I have a hard time getting that many of either of those myself haha. The ss butters, butter>mirage combos, etc., looked great.

Anyway, please take the comments as constructive, because I know it's not your fault that the vid came out this way. Just letting you know what to watch out for in the next vid.

It's Youtube, click play

Chrissy, it looks good. You are tireless, give yourself rest when you need it. You have very good osii, butterflys, mirages, and legovers. You should work on getting the legovers completely downtime. You should be in a comfortable level to start setting pixies or fairies, and atw's are good drill to develop pixie/fairy strength; the rest is in your head.

Haha. HEY! Give a single mother credit for even posting the video. :P This is my fourth video ever making. I'll put music in my videos someday soon. Thanks for watching my uninteresting video. Hehe. I knew it wasn't great, but I just thought I'd share.

Thanks for the tips. I've been meaning to work on fixing my legovers. I hate that I have to hop to get my leg up and around or whatever I do. I'll show you guys my atws next time. I actuallyplanned on having more stuff than that, but I felt like I was going to pass out a half an hour into my session and had to quit.

Hey Chrissy, props to you for finally putting together a video! :)

Comments on the shred:
Infinities and osii looked really good, I was surpised you put them at the end of the video, I thought they were the best part. With some more drilling I'm sure you could hit 20 of each. I agree about getting the legovers a little more downtime, you are a hopping A LOT which makes the move require a lot more energy, lowering string length. Also, I think on mirage sometimes you set too high, which basically has the same effect that you have to exert more to do the trick. Your pdx mirages looked good though, better than your toe ones :)

Comments on the editing:
I know it was your first video to edit, you will get better as you make more. The movie was 9 minutes long which is way too long for almost all footbag videos. Things to edit out: drops, parts where you are standing there catching your breath, parts where you are off camera, picking the bag up off the ground and most self-serves. Also, add in some music or mute it! Half the fun of making a video for me is picking a song for it :) That's fairly easy to do with Windows Movie Maker.

Happy shredding! Keep at it :)

Really good style. I was very impressed with your relaxed style. The hopping legover is very common for people just starting out. Once you get the rhythm of a true legover you will never go back to hopping.

I agree with the comments about the video length, sound, and so on, but I am sure in the future you will not only improve your shred skills but your video skills as well.

Peace.

Hi,
nice style and good perseverance.
If i may suggest, add some pick-up, (i'm not sure, but i think i didn't see any, and its not harder than a leg over).
Maybe you can also put a song that you like too share some footage with background music.
Anyway props for your first edit.
