Incredible. They both shred flawlessly; every surging set looked perfect. Lots of highlights, but Takumi's surging near swirl bsos stood out, as did Rene's 60-ish contact run at the end. I love it when the hardest stuff shows up after the first 30 or so tricks... by then I'm usually just bailing in between hitting easy 4's.

This is going to be one of those videos I end up watching a couple dozen times.

So. Much. Surging. I really like how sharp and clean all of this shred looked. Not a bit of sloppiness to be found. Good way to spend 8 minutes (and, ultimately, probably a lot more than that!) Thanks for posting!

Great shred from both guys. I enjoyed the anime music as well. Thanks for sharing.

I love it! Both styles are really great and you can see them pushing each other. I love when a video surprises you, so many combos made me say "oh!" out loud. Thank you so much for making and sharing this.

Rene's density always catches me off guard, and Takumi has one of my favorite styles ever. Thanks so much for the shred!

Wow. Great video guys. Sick styles.. I've always loved Takumi's style but haven't seen much of Rene's in the past... now I have.. So dope. I've gotta say, I'm inspired by both of you.

Also, I used to listen to Mongol800 back in high school, when I was in search of obscure ska music, a lot of which were Japanese bands :P

How long have you been playing Rene? It was one of the best videos that I've seen in a while, it actually held my interest past the 4 minute mark (unusual recently) thank you for the good editing and great shred, I hope to play with both shredders in the future :)
