Chris May - Insane New Years

Post by Shredster » 25 Jan 2006 12:07

So, I've been hearing some requests for new video. So, with the help of Mike Hansens' Fizzied hosting, and the high speed capability of my schools internet, I'm able to finally post something new.

While talking with my friend Derek, we were discussing some moves, and I decided to do some impossible moves for him, so I could show him later for the fun of it. I hit some new moves that I didn't know I possibly could (like the first one) and I also completely missed some bogus moves that were strictly for fun. I wish I had done some more strings for this video, but I have enough I feel to make everyone happy for a while.

Well, I hope you guys all enjoy this.

EDIT: Is it downloadable? Comments are welcome btw.

I thought the video was ok. What kind of camera did you use? Did you use some sort of an effect to make the frames look like that? It was hard to see the dexes and the strings seemed choppy...
Thanks for the vid :)

Choppy? I used a Panasonic, 350 dollar camera. I don't have the best lighting in the garage, and the time I get to shred is mostly at night. If your monitor has a brightness setting, perhaps turn it to max? I know my monitor is already set to max brightness and I can see things just fine, though I can't lie that I wish everything were in daytime lighting. I apologize for any darkness besides that.

Fun video! :D

Playing in a smelly old garage sucks. I spent 2 winters busting in mine b/c there was simply no other indoor spot. Keep it up Chris, it'll all pay off.

Nice vid. Nice freestyle. I liked the two flying toe strings the best. Those were cool.

Yes!! Seeing this video was great, I have been wondering for a while where your game is at now I am so glad to see you've still been progressing and that you finally have small shorts! hehe

Have you played with any other guiltless players yet?

I want to play with you one day.

Glad you've kept getting better, props man.

Nice Chris!
Some of those double downs were thin, watch out :)
Great to see you hitting longer guiltless runs now, but they are a bit bop filled. You should hit more genuine 3's there, like drifters, whirls and dlo's!

Those aren't my normal strings. That night was supposed to be a bunch of crazy tricks. I threw in some easy strings to separate the madness. Next video will be much better as far as strings go. Thanks for comments though! Yeah, I know my double downs are thin, but a couple months ago they were downright THE. Same with my whirls. They have gotten deeper, and they can only continue :)
