Hot damn that was nasty... Everyone comment on flipsider! That's what Eli wants, we owe him at least a word or two with all the work he's putting in on that site.

word. i commented, and i encourage everyone to do so as well, as matt did. not only because ellis wants us to, but because jorden posted the video there, not here. but i wanted to make sure lots of people saw it as well, to make sure he got credit for his dedication to the sport.

Is it working to just left-click the Download link, or do you have to Right-click, Save As..? Is it the same for all videos in the Gallery, or just the WMVs?

The way it's supposed to work is when you click the Download link, the video should automatically open a Save As dialogue, or just download instantly to a specified folder (depending on your browser settings). Instead, there is a problem with my database cache, and it instead opens the video in the browser, or tries opening it in Windows Media Player if a WMV. But Right-click, Save As works for me; how about you? I'm still ironing out the kinks of the Gallery. Bear with me.

..oh and post where you want. I don't care. But yes, Jorden posted it on Flipsider, not Modified.

...and I still don't know what Suderman Tail is after watching the video.

hehe, I'd rather not know actually. I was just pointing out that watching the video doesn't mean one will necessarily know which move he's talking about.

Wooohaaa!!! That video was insane.... if Jorden continues like that, in Worlds he can finish in a better place than last year...

A little question.. the last trick of the video.. the one in the minute 3:15 it is called Surreal whirl.. but I'm not sure if it's "Stepping spinning whirl" or "Stepping spinning whirling swirl"... :? I've watched that trick at least 50 times and in the slow motion there is a final move which looks more like a whirling swirl than a whirl...
Did anyone knows which of those it is? Thanks....

think of it like this, it is a gyro blurry whirling swirl.

So its gyro stepping pdx whirling swirl. YES, there is a swirl at the end. Thats why its surreal swirl

eli, I left clicked, and it opened up a blank browser window, which I guess would have resulted eventually in WMP opening and playing the file without saving. I cancelled that, and did right click, save as. It downloaded a file that ended in .php, and I was able to open that as a movie in VLC media player, although the first alpine matador was cut off, assuming that's what it was.

Also, if you sincerely don't want to know what suderman's tail is, read no further....

It's that move where jorden starts a pendulum, falls forward, catches him self and never releases the bag, and holds the toe stall behind him for a second, then swings his leg out and forward, and hand catches.

Hahah does it really have to be called Suderman's Tail? I know it's probably really hard, but it's such a hack trick IMO. And I know you're all excited cuz you got to see it in person from Johnny himself, so I'll shut up now. :P

I couldn't comment on the flipsider site for some reason. Vid was usual sicknness, highlights for me were the barraging moves bsos run which was awe-inspiring, and the surreal swirl. It's funny cuz Takumi does a surreal in his vid, and then to see a swirl on the end is wild. I think surge has definitely become one of my favorite sets to watch.

Thanks.. now I've understood the movement... and I also read it wrong.. I don't know why I read whirl when it puts clearly swirl... :?

Anyway.. awesome move....

That's a weird reason not to like it.

I actually never said I hated or didn't like it. I just feel like the name 'Suderman's Tail' could be reserved for like alpine nuclear double over down or something- wait no, that would be Superman's Tail!

Anyway, it's a neat move. it makes him look like a scorpion kinda.
