I feel like it's an honor to be the first to say WOW

edit: so let me elaborate after watching it again. really great variety, I thought every run had a nice flavor of its own. The double spins (both sides!) were really great to see. Stepping ducking is so easy for you, I feel like you should do two dexes on the way up. I kept wanting for a dble swirl (ripstein?) for some reason. I definitely needed some slo mo. Wife said "shit he's fast". Loved the music choice, who was that (excuse the old guy for not knowing). Nice shred Dave

When you were injured you said stuff bout how you were gonna change your style a bit when you were better and I wasn't sure if you were or not. It looks like you have, a lot. And I like it a lot more now. I think it looks more relaxed, you have way more variety, and the big thing I noticed was with a lot of your shuffle you didn't do much toe stuff, and now you've got a bigger variety you use more often. Your strings are more interesting and more fun to watch.

Thanks.

I already told you what I think on AIM (kinda ;)) but seriously dude. Welcome back.

That is my new favorite video.

Your style is seriously like, way better. Your move selection is sooooo good. It's weird to see because it seems impossible for someone to get all of those moves as solid as you have them.

Man I could go into detail but seriously.

YOUR SPINS OMGGGGG. Your double spins look so good! Holy shit!

Ok that's enough asspatting. Keep shredding Dr. D. :)

Yeah, your style looks a lot smoother and more calm, Dave.
I was really happy to not see any torques, 'cause I always noticed even before your injury how much hard twist they put on your back (especially pdx!).

Those runs are huge. Halfway through that first one I was, like, "Is this still the same run???" Superfly > ripped warrior BSOS was huuuuge. I agree with the variety comment too. I wanna be able to do stepping ducking like it's nothing! I liked the double dexes, like, particularly a pixie paradon stood out to me for some reason. Oh yeah, and there was a spinning swirl (in the last run?) and that was really neat.

I'm going to watch this so many times tonight!!!

I don't even know what to say, I have started about 20 different compliments and I can't find the right one.

Amazing style, amazing string length, amazing variety, amazing difficulty, extreme both sidedness, great clipper AND toe play, I am pretty sure you are the perfect description of a footbagger.

And I assume you were using your own personal footbag for the video?

Aside from the generic compliments, I think it is awesome that you actually use whirling as a set, all the time in your strings, and from what it looked like, you can use phazing mid string as well.

The trick at :47, is that pixie flail, or pixie symp. egg? Your ankle cranks in such a way that I think you could fit a the legover in it, but upon first look it seems you only hit flail. Either way, for whatever reason, that is my favourite trick in the video.

Thanks for making such an awesome video,
Jay Boychuk

Major Shred

Man that was sick, I'm glad to hear you're all healed up (for the most part) and can shred up a storm such as the video proves.

Watched it a few times.

First of all Props! Props for filling me with love for footbag!
To me your shred looks like art, i cant wait to see how youll be playing in a year or 2.

Props on your great skill!
Props for recovering!

What i would love to see in your strings:
A bit of alpine toe moves, stuff like alpine plo, magellan etc.I think that would add more flavour to all those alpine stepping moves.

Ripsteins! Preferably both sides.Everybody loves ripsteins.

Symple swirls? And step out of them! :)

Bravo David!
No wonder you have problems with your back dude, even that you make it look like soo easy, that is sooo massive shred there.
You have that whirling set for nothing and that alpine dlos damn!
Really creative combos.
Props Dave
