Footbagi's Toronto Jam - High Def

Post by footbagi » 03 Mar 2009 08:45

Hey friends.

I finally decided to go ahead with making this video even though I had very little footage to work with. It's nothing epic, and I only spent 2 hours editing it but I think it's pretty fun.

If you want to watch it in high-definition just click the link in the bottom right corner. If you have an old video card or overall slow computer then it might not play very well in highdef (as I have found with my Dad's PC).

Enjoy!

That was a great video! Of course the quality biases this judgment. Footbag looks SO easy and effortless when you have this many pixels and frames in such harmony. Like, were you watching that long Jorden run, thinking "I actually understand what he's doing"? The massive Anssi run was even slightly comprehensible. I did skip the first 30 seconds or so, because I'm in a public library and I didn't want people thinking I was watching random shirtless dudes in a Sauna...

Thanks Mr.Bagi, the song was perfect :)

Yeh the image quality here is sexy as. What compression did you use when you exported it to put on Youtube?
Thanks for sharing this :)

The song is still available Cale! I kinda feel like I wasted the song because I would normally like to edit according to the music to help accent the video. This vid was just thrown together without incorporating the two together. Feel free to give this song some justice bro!

As for compression. I used Adobe CS4. It was exported using mpeg-2, 1440x1080, 30fps. But the video files are 1920x1080 so I was worried that it would crunch the image. For some reason it worked perfectly and I'm very VERY happy about that. This technical shit can make a person go crazy!!!!

Thanks for the compliments and opinions so far!!!

Great video! The music is just so cool. And it's fantastic how enthusiastic and motivated people are in Toronto. Very cool idea to throw a jam because of a european visitor.

Great little video!

Didn't know I was naked on the internet growling, but stranger things have happened!

This jam totally happened out of nowhere but it was a total blast!

You're welcome back any time Anssi!
