A good routine is not about how many diff tricks , but is about how much impact can do to the crowd. 8O

Yes, this routine was epic to see happen live. Everyone freaked out, it was great. No one thought Lon would go dropless. After it was over, I overheard Kenny Shults tell Lon it was "one of the best routines he'd ever seen".

Some BAP member had told me that routines can go for 2 minutes and 15 seconds.

No wonder Abe didn't like it. He didn't even count the doublespinning clipper, let alone realize that it was a double spun osis.

Thanks for all the props and thanks John for posting it on YouTube.

Great routine Lon!

As far as i remember it was your first dropless after 17 years of playing footbag. Amazing!

I take back what I had said earlier, I do like this routine. I did tie you for first in your pool during quali's. What I said earlier was just based off my memory of the day, which I had remembered inaccurately. So my apologies.

And the whole point is that doesn't matter weather or not it was spinning clipper, double spinning clipper, double spinning osis, or even a drop for that matter. As a judge I'm not even allowed to give you credit for it because the rules clearly state that a routine can be no longer than two minutes. Of course I'll give you props for it but that can't that be reflected on my score card. Either way I wasn't time judge and I don't think the time judge even noticed this round.

Haha it should really be Drew Martin who gets the thanks. He was the one who decided to randomly pick up my camera to film your routine. Putting it on YouTube was the easy part :)

Was Lon's Semi's routine counted as dropless? His first drop is at around 2:05 minutes. Although he went for three, I feel like that was also dropless, per the rules.

Yes technically his semi is also dropless as the time judge, Jeff Mudd, alerted the judges that he had gone over time before he dropped.

The tournament director decided that players should not be given time calls and should be allowed to play for as long as they choose.
