Hey,

Watched most of the streaming version. Sick. Definitely worth the support.

Question: I can't get my dl version to playback. It says it is in mpeg format too. I tried adjusting it by changing it to .mov. Still, no luck. Any ideas?

Change it back to mpg and open it using VLC

Yeah, an srt file would be insanely easy, especially if there is a .doc with the move name and time code already in existence. They are essentially just a text file like this;
1
00:02:46,000 --> 00:02:49,000
My poor baby.

2
00:03:22,000 --> 00:03:25,000
Who has stolen the child's dream?

3
00:03:25,000 --> 00:03:29,000
The mad genius Krank
in his evil scheme.
You could easily convert the doc to a spreadsheet, write a little formula that converts the time codes to the correct format and adds in the finish time, and then copy into an text file or existing srt file and fix the paragraphing (I'm not even sure you'd need to fix the paragraphing). I will do it when/if I fix my pay pal account and when my downloads are no longer shaped, but anybody could, and it would only take about 10 minutes.

Hi Jeremy,

We would be happy to give you a complimentary copy if you are willing to do this for us! :)

Right now our transcript document only has the time where each trick starts.
I will revise it with the time ranges today and get back to you.

Cheers,
JM

Hey Jorden.
I just emailed you.
I've made a subtitle track and sent it to you to distribute with the video to those who've paid. Enjoy!

...Or to whomever you want. If you don't mind it accessible to everyone, I could just host it and post a link here. Lemme know.

Oh, stole my free copy :lol: Good job anyway. Was it as easy as I said it would be? I hope so :P

Anyway I'm happy to buy a copy, the main reason I haven't yet is just because I couldn't watch it at the moment anyway as my internet is capped. It sounds like it will be an amazing video, and I'm always happy to support these kinds of projects.

Hi guys,

I just mass E-mailed out Sir Chan's srt file.
It was pointed out to me that you can have the subtitles start automatically.

Simply put both the mpg and srt file in the same directory and rename the srt to "Badassery100.srt".

Thanks Erik!!! :D

So, the site that was hosting the streaming video gave my work and home computer the nastiest virus I have ever seen. My work computer had to be wiped and I lost all my work data/docs. It also effected our server which was really scary, thank goodness our network wasn't infected. I also got this virus on my home computer which I am waiting to hear if it is fixable (it's the first virus I have not been able to deal with myself). Anyway just wondering if anyone else has had this experience?

I am anxiously awaiting a download so I can finish watching the video.

Really sorry Justin!!!!
This is the first instance we've heard of this happening. :?
I'll try talking to Allan to see if we can find the source of this virus.

If nothing else works, I'd be happy to throw the video on a DVD and send it to you.

All the best,
Jorden

Good news, computer is fine. I think it was just something imbedded into the site. Probably random. If no one else noticed then it was just bad luck. Thanks
ps. since im posting, finally hit flip nemesis.

To be clear, this didn't happen from visiting freedomfootbags.com; this issue arose from whatever service that was used for the streaming version.

Jorden, can you send me a link to the streaming version so that I might investigate?

Justin, you can download a copy from the freedomfootbags.com/badassery site with no issues, right?
