A Week with Honza Weber - Sport/Life

Hey there, modified!

Back in January, Jay and I landed in Europe and immediately set out for Prague to spend some time with the one and only Honza Weber. Prague is the first stop on the Footbag Eurotour (which starts tomorrow, by the way! :O ), and Honza's kitchen table quickly became a work station where a whole lot of organizing, coordinating, and video editing was done.

Inspired by some research we had done into videos of other freestyle sports, we decided this was the perfect opportunity to document a typical week in the life of a professional freestyle player. Before we arrived, we were assured that Honza was "not very busy this week". It didn't take long for us to have our minds blown by what "not busy" meant to him (invite-only performances at high-class hotels, and filming a TV-spot for the BBC? Are you serious?!).

Having never really made a "documentary" of any sort before, we tried to film and include as much as possible, and the entire process of creating it, from start to finish, ended up being a really interesting learning experience (especially from just filming and editing shred videos). Unfortunately, with our hectic schedule (we have been to five countries since this was filmed...) this project was put on the back-burner for a while. Needless to say, we are extremely excited to share it with you now that it is completed, after so many months (and after Jay's almost two days of non-stop editing)!

PS. Anssi and Juho are on their way to Prague right now, and we are so close to being set to perform at schools tomorrow! How can I get any more excited?
