Eurotour: Team Request Challenge Part 1 and 2.

Post by jay7 » 02 May 2014 09:46

Howdy Folks,

Here is a snippet of the tour in Gdansk! I made up a request combo list, geared toward the difficulty of the tour members. The idea was that the team would have 3 tries (per person) to hit a combo, and if one (or two-four) of the members succeeded, then we could move on. This wasn't for competition, but more to see some nice combos get hit, under similar conditions to the request contest.

I left it quite raw, as I think part of the beauty of things like request is the banter inbetween, failed combos, close tries, and the comradery of people, despite the fact that they are competing against eachother.

In any case, here is part one, which has the "warm up" combos. Once the jam is done, I'll get to editing the rest of it! Enjoy.

Great video. Really enjoyed watching that, the raw edit worked really well. Helped to have the combos written out too.

That was a lot of fun. I like the editing too, where you can see the combos each person hit before. I was also inspired by the combos themselves, and gave them a shot:

Of course, if those were the warm up combos, I doubt I'll get any of the next round's.

Here is part 2. Due to computer troubles, no fancy editing was to be had, but regardless I hope you all enjoy.

remember when there was only 1 set of footprints?

that's when anssi carried us all.

( execution from everyone made me burst out audibly. aleksi's marius was so good. )

edit: just re-watched, great ending to the vid, especially for a raw edit.

"can you do stepping symposium whirl?"
"yea, i can do all of them with enough tries."
"you have one more."

BANG.
