Welcome to the board! A few things... moderators on the board typically don't like people to "double post"... so you might want to try using the "edit" button (found in the upper right corner) to edit your posts, assuming we still have that feature... I'm actually not sure, because I noticed one night that we didn't have it in the Hanging Out sections. Anyways, I'm downloading the short so I'll let you know what I think later. The site's layout is nice though. Hope you have a good, informative time on modified.ca

*EDIT*: This is pretty cool! You should animate one of Vasek's movies like "Vecere" or something, that would be awesome.

That was awesome. As I was watching it, I was like "Wow, she plays a lot like Vasek." ;-] Since you already have everything modeled, I think it would be cool to play around with camera angles, such as put a stationary camera right above her, or put a camera in front that follows the bag, or to actually put a camera on the bag itself.

That was FAT! That goes out to all the guys that wonder what it would be like there was a girl who could shred like Vasek or Ales. Seriously though, that must have taken an enormous amount of talent and time to create. I had to put a link to it from Shreditas.com because it is so cool.

Hi all - this is my first post!
Just thought I'd give a bit of background on this short...
I used Softimage XSI to create this, and the project covered six months of solid work, and another six months of training all done at Vancouver Film School.
Thanks very much for all the props - I probably won't get around to making a full length movie by any means, as animating and modelling just a few seconds of footbag can take days, or sometimes weeks. But I do intend to keep animating, so check out my site every once in a while for updates.
Sorry for the big file size - I'm just all about retaining quality, as it took much time to get every colour and line just right.
Feel free to e mail me with any questions and comments
Peace! 8)
