Ooh a double dvd, that sweetens the deal
sorry if my agreeing with nate offended anyone, but at the time he seemed to make a good point... maybe it was my mood i dont know
but in the context of the complete lack of worlds footage, parting with
AU$30 for 2 hrs of it is seeming more worth it
the way i took it before was that the footage was just raw unedited, which apparently isnt the case so thats good

I dont think it would matter as long as da runs are decient.. who carez if it has effects or looks am. But my next vid is gonna have alot more effects than JS 2.. JS 2 was ghetto it was filmed in hi-8.. As was 100 and all that euro shit.. I didn't mess with it too much cuz hi 8 looks shitty on TV with effects. Now i got my digy and its on.Tsiangkun wrote:Oops, sorry dogg. I guess that could be read that way. What do you mean it could be read that way? You still sayin my videos are chitty .
Man... Haggett had some shit ON BEAT i thought. In paticular some good inspinning right on the music...
I think if the video is sectional you should definately ask!! But my vid was a collage style. You cant go through every clip with people...
One time red caught a run he didn't like on the monsterhack videos and luckily since it was real sound i could just delete that run. Once you start putting it to the beat, if you take stuff out it messes up everything cuz you would replace it with some other stuff that doesnt' fit right.
It all comes down to this:
Us shred producers (yea me too) need to learn how to make vids where everyone is goint to be 100% satisfied every time so we could just avoid this .. And if we start ever makin money, then get into all the contracts and dat bullshit. But until theres any dollars it dont make sence. We need real shelves before we start pullin stuff off of them.. At that point people would go over every run but its just not enough money to get that serious with it.. People act like millions of dollars are at stake sometimes and too worried about what they look like. This sport is to poor thats the real problem cuz nobodys workin together. Therez no companies to compain to, only real shredderz who love what they do. Until we face that, people are always gonna complain.
I think everyone of these guys should be mobbing together to form a big shred company and get this all over the world but everyone wants to be on thier own cause they are tryin to make themselves look better than the next footbagger cuz in real life outside footbag they aint shit and thats real.

I completely disagree. I know that Carol Wedermeyer doesn`t like to be filmed. I also know of some male shredders who don`t like to be filmed when they play without a shirt, because they are hairy. But at a hot tournament (like, say, Texas States) I think people should have the right to shred and not be filmed if they don`t want to be filmed. I also know that some players are camera-shy or play worse when they are filmed. Or sometimes people want to try out secret hard moves, and don`t want footage of their misses appearing on the internet before they`ve hit the trick.wicked wrote:I think askin 4 permission is a waste cuz everyone just says yes anyway... Whos gonna say no?
Asking for permission is respectful and takes no time whatsoever.
So basically, there are a lot of good reasons to ask for permission, and very few reasons not too. Asking for permission is so easy, and there are so many situations where people might not want to be filmed, that it makes no sense not to ask for permission every time.
Yea but this is a worlds video.. I could see that in someones backyard but if they shreddin at the "world championships" dont you think they should expect to be in some form of media ESPECIALLY if they are throwin it down??? I think if someone is taping you at worlds you better get ready to be thrown up in some videos.C-Fan wrote:I completely disagree. I know that Carol Wedermeyer doesn`t like to be filmed. How could you be the world champion and not wanna be on video? Thats just hindering the sport. She should be in a spotlight not in darkness.C-Fan wrote:I completely disagree. Yea in the backyard thats fine, but at the world championships you should be ready to get FILMED.Shaun wrote:Maybe some people don't like to be filmed, puts pressure on them. Just cause you want the footage for your use doesn't mean that the shredred should have to say yes.

^^^ Im saying why is everyone tryin to have seperate companies instead of forming one diverse company that would have the power to reach out.. Why is everyone just trying to make themselves look better with personal work instead of showing some shred unity. The video makers are tryin to get glory when they should be colaborating. I see this mainly in the states cuz there seems to be more unity in europe on all their shit and i am jealous. Its alwayz a one man opperation here honestly and you cant hire someone to help you!! If they aren't a footbagger they dont know shit!!

As world champion, that`s for her to decide, not you.wicked wrote:

Frankly, I also agree its a shame she doesn`t want to be filmed more, but I understand her reasons why, and I think her decision should be respected. Of course, if you don`t bother asking for permission, you would never know this in the first place.
Why would a world champion wanna stop the media??? Only if they was concerned about what they look like.C-Fan wrote:As world champion, that`s for her to decide, not you.wicked wrote:
