Finally got it uploaded! This is footage taken from the most recent Australian jam in Brisbane, Queensland, in September 2004. Features sections devoted to Dan Ednie and Jeremy O'Wheel, two of Australias finest. Plus a heap of intermediate shred and random stuff that happened.

Sorry its in .avi, i hope most of you can still watch. i havent figured out .wmv yet but it cant be too hard.

Hope you all enjoy watching it as much as i did producing it! PLEASE give any feedback because it all helps me with my videos. Cheers!

Format: .avi
Compression: Xvid Codec - you'll need this to watch the video
Size: 131 megs
Length: 18 minutes
Shred: Off tha hook

wow well this really sucks then! Some other people have struck this problem on ausfootbag.org forums too. But then people such as Richie and Tuukka seem to have no problem watching it?
You need the XviD codec to watch it, and an up to date Windows Media Player or DivX player.
However that wouldnt really explain why it cuts off on the download... does anyone know why this may be?

Could there be too many people downloading it at once? File corruption on the ausfootbag server? damnit....

EDIT: hmm shit i dont know.. when i look at the file just on ausfootbag.org it says its 46 megs aswell.... but how did Erik, Tuukka etc get the whole thing? im assuming the whole thing, if they saw Jeremy's section which is the last one... was there credits at the end too Erik?
Ill have to connect to the FTP server and check it out when i get home, really sorry about this guys! how embarassing.. my grand entrance ruined hahha

i got it to work, if you have divx, open the divx player itself then go to the folder in which the video is saved, and open it and will play, i watched, it was pretty damn good, the kid in the red lavers was good as hell.

don't think of it as embarrasing

just a few technical difficulites

Props for putting the effort into making a video for aussie shredders.

hey ya'll, use VLC - the video lan client. It'll play pretty much anything except .wmv (including DVD files). It's open source, works on almost every platform and you can even run it from a USB drive! (I do that so that I can play mp3s on my locked-down school comptuers). Videolan is what I used to watch this video, and it worked fine.

oh, and nice video! mad props.

I only got 107megs of 130 so I saw beginning of Jeremy's section then it cut.
Probably the file is corrupted or something. When you can't download the whole file, some players won't play uncompleted files. I used windows media player classic, which worked fine.

Try uploading again, should help.

Yeh sorry guys, i uploaded at a mates house and left before it finished, apparently it had some error and stuffed up. He's going to re-upload it tomorrow morning and keep an eye on it i think.

Please avoid downloading it at this point until i get it sorted, in case it messes up again.

Sorry everyone! Bit of an anti-climax to my great unveiling

Don't be so hard on yourself!

Today at our club meeting Jared was telling me how great this video was. I can't wait to see it. (I have a pile of files to download before I can see it.. and I need to install my new hard drive so I can fit it on my computer  )

I am still pumped to see it, I think I will just go watch it at Jared's house.

Thanks in advance for making a video!

Really cool.
Thanks Ian for that. It's great to see someone else's footage, and their take on the event.

I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out of the Australian championships next month.
