This guide is fairly comprehensive yet is also a work in progress. I've got the essential basics covered pretty well, and in a different language than on .org (I wrote my descriptions based on whatever personal definitions I came up with in the moment). It's called the Freedom Footbags' Freestyle Footbag Fundamentals Flyer (FFFFFF):

Dirtbags aren't bad at all for beginner bags. I personally think they're better than Mr. Sandbags within the first month or so of playing. SHOES are the most important part of footbag. Rod Lavers have flat, net-like surfaces that are ideal for catching the bag. But yeah, as long as a bag breaks in to be pretty stally you're good.

what i meant was that i have used a mr. sandbag, and a footfighter, and i personally like dirbags to be my choice of bag until i get a 32 pInfecedTofu wrote:Maybe if you played a bit longer and tried other bags, you'd see that there are better bags out there.CodyG wrote:i dont see why people are dissing the dirtbags, i use them and i think they are great

Practice jester on the other foot, I think it's called super jester or flipsider or something.Kyle Hewitt wrote:Hey, I just started footbagging not to long ago and I can do the "jester", toe kick thing, and an outer kick thing and I'm wondering what else I should practice.
oh and the gear I have is crappy leather walmart shoes (ordering rod lavers now) and a dirtbag foot bag.
could someone help a noob out?
