so i used the search button, but i could only find lots of examples of "ss" being used, for example ss butterfly or ss clipper.... what does that mean? is it what most people call "rainbow", like "side to side"? thanks, let me know!

pretty close, it means "same side".
so a clipper > ss clipper means two consecutive clippers on the same side
It's usually added when it's not clear which side is meant.
