amdidexterous

Post by dan the man » 30 Jun 2008 08:29

i was wondering if anyone agrees with me, or thinks i'm crazy. but i was thinking that it may help to kill onesidedness by learning to be amdidexterous or pretty close to it (if its even possible). so like eating, writing, using the remote controller all with the left hand. does anyone think thats possible and if so would it actually help. i ask, because i feel like my cordination on my left foot is like 1/4 what my right foot is.

(i'm at the point where i'm ready to do anything to help my leftside)

The way to get better at weak shit is to do it more. You get good at what you practice.

Practicing to change channels with your left hand will only increase your left handed channel changing skills, not your shred game.

That said, you can do many many things in life both sided. Footbag made me take this to heart and I have trouble participating in strongly one-sided sports like tennis.

Practising stuff with your weak side helps build up connections in your brain, so go for it :)

i'm just kidding, i practiced my flipside a lot, and now my strongside is weaker, but.. in like a week it'll be stronger again. i like to practice the flipside first so that my strongside isn't so strong. perfection is when there is no flipside.
