G'Day.

Post by eatcookies » 15 Nov 2010 20:31

Hello,
Allow me to introduce myself.

I'm a 23 year old guy from NSW, Australia who has circle kicked for a few years sporadically, and only just found out about freestyle.
I've yet to get a proper bag, but am looking forward to learning as much about the sport as I can.

As soon as finances allow, I plan to purchase a bag from elemental footbags, as I enjoy supporting Australian companies, not to mention the shipping rate is significantly decreased when comparing to ordering from overseas.

Thanks for having me! :D

Hey! Welcome to the sport man.

Here are a few tips

1. Learn the basic tricks in a controlled consistent way with BOTH FEET
2. Stay on the balls of your feet .
3 30 minutes of working on one trick until it feels effortless is more productive than 3 hours of 20% accuracy with 10 tricks.
4. Watch guys who are the best

Players to check out ( in no specific order )

Jorden Moir David Clavens Scott Bevier Ryan Mulroney
Vasek Klouda Nick Landes Evan Gatesman Damien Gielniki
Lon Smith Jim Penske Milan Benda
(sorry if I misspelled guys names) there are many many more

Shoes options

Rod laver Adidas (mesh) MOST USED SHOE (easy to mod for footbag)
Reebok Gunit g6 discontinued ...super comfortable if you can find them
Quantums discontinued...although u can still get a pair (no mod needed)
Clima cools....require the most modding
Nucleus ...not alot of support (no mod) needed

THERE ARE INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS ON UTUBE FOR ALOT OF TRICKS, check ANZ's TRICKS Good luck man...Peace

The above post is sticky worthy. Been said, but not as concise.

I appreciate it to no end.

Those tips were surely well sought after by myself, and will be followed to the best of my ability. :D
