New footbag players, please feel free to introduce yourselves here. Don't be shy, let us know you're out there kicking.

Hi, new old player here! My name is Tomi and I'm from Finland. Started kicking when I was in ninth grade and played few years. Then it stalled. But now, about ten years later I have found this sport again and it has been fun. I have also started stitching my own bags.

Hey Tomi,

there are not so many active players in Oulu at the moment. Are you kicking with your friends meaning is there more players than you? You probably know Miikka Laine, who used to kick about 10 years ago as well, but stopped around that time. He still kicks sometimes for fun.

While I lived in Oulu 2007-2010 I kicked with Antti Tapio. I'll ask him to check this thread and you should definitely go kick together!

cheers,
Tuukka

Yes, this is awesome place!

Tuukka, there are few friends who plays but it is usually just circle kicking. Maybe few tricks here and there but no serious shredding. Miikka was the main dude back then. He got us gym shift for winter time. There were couple other good players too.

Ill jump in here. No sense making a new thread.

Im just an old dog who used to circle kick allot in high school in the 90's. Did a few tricks but never knew of freestyle then. Always loved sports that used feet. Skateboarding, Football, Footbag, etc. Between work and life I dont have allot of time to get serious into this sport, but as a hobby its great for me.

Stitching is a nice relaxing thing to do to relax at the end of the day. Practicing some moves is a nice exercise before or after work. Great way to loosen up.

I will always love this sport and support / promote it everywhere...
