What are props?
This whole topic is pretty much just my question... What are props, how do i earn them, and are they as awesome as they sound
Re: What are props?
A heavily used, internet version of a high-five, or a way to say 'Well done'.
Edit: You earn them by writing stuff for which people will give you those 'props', as in, they will click that button at the top right corner of your post.

Props is a slang term that means 'due respect'. It is not on modified because it is a cool internet thing, but because it has been used in footbag to acknowledge great tricks and runs for many, many years.
It is even on the dictionary of the all the FootbagDenmark website:

Re: What are props?
Who has the most props on modified?
Re: What are props?
Probably Nick P.
I'll maybe write an interface to expose this bit of info but a) there are many higher priority items above this, and b) a top 5-10 list is a tad competitive; I like the idea, but props in general are, in my mind anyhow, supposed highlight good posts/content and that's really all. That being said something like this will certainly happen, it's just a matter of when.

Re: What are props?
I think I have the most, because Ken went through all my old blog posts and propped them. Thanks, Ken!

Hey, Matt.. Fuck you, bro. Can we legally say "Fuck" on the forum?

Re: What are props?
It would be great to have a 'fuck you' button along the Props button or some other way of disliking a post. It's really hard not to offend anyone in here so it would be nice as a notification that you have stepped over a line.
I'm not 12 anymore. Getting props feels nice, but constructive criticism would actually be useful.

Yeah, I'm not writing that code. If someone else wants to, OK. But it ain't me.
