Hey! I'm New To This...

Post by shredita girlie » 08 Jun 2004 17:58

Hi. I'm Megan. I am pretty new to the sport but I've been trying for like a year. I just went to West Virginia this weekend... and met lots of cool people so now I'd like to really get into it.

I can hit some tricks. Here's a list:

Clipper Kick
Flying Clipper (both sides)
ATW
Legover
Flying Butterfly
...I've hit a few Mirage and Illusions. And in West Virginia I hit Pixie and Dragonfly. I was pretty excited.

I play with silver Rod Lavers and a spiffy pair of pink Converse shoes... laced up for footbag. Yippee!

That is all for now...

Welcome, it's always exciting to see a newcomer especially a girl.

Age?
There is always a bigger trick.

Go watch a vid. of Dylan Fry.

welcome. do you play with a freedom? if not you should invest in one (or three). http://www.MONSTERHACK.com is having a sale on them if your interested. or you can just go to http://www.freedomfootbags.com and get them strait from Genzu blades.
Every man has their technique, and they are all different......when you know mine.....youll be dead.

You should post up that group pic that we took before you guys left. I'd like a copy and I'm glad you had a good time at the jam.

Nice tricks!

Nice moves. Exactly the same moves I started with BTW.

I haven't been able to do a proper clipper kick since I learnt the stall.

First off, I'm 18. Going to be 19 by the time Worlds comes.

I play with two sandbags and I also have a Dirtbag. I prefer the sand bags though.

And my Lavers buddy... you seriously were rocking my socks off. No problem about the water. haha. We all needed it!

And I will post pictures from the WV when I get my pictures developed. I'm hoping to get some more at Maryland as well. Hopefully I get some more footage too. As soon as I learn how to post footage... I'll have it up on here.

Have a nice day! :D

those are the exact same bags I have... I have a Mr. sandman and a 32 pannel dirtbag that is almost dead  . Have you tried hitting osis, I am at about the same level as you I think and osis was pretty easy once I learned to clipper... well good luck...
