Well, if I know Montreal, getting around is a nightmare. Especially solo. 8O

yeah im like 80% sure i will be there but i need to know if there is any crash space, or if anyone would like to go in on a room at the place in the first post. if i do come i will be taking the bus from Boston, not sure what time i will be arriving (will edit this post after i check it out). also, should i invest in a 3 day subway pass for 16 dollars or will someone be able to drive me basically from the bus to the inn, to the comp spot, etc. its fine if not, but i just need to know so i can figure everything out.

also noteworthy: sorry to one-up you andrew but june 1st is MY birthday  so we'll definitely be celebrating mine and not yours. kidding, i cant wait to celebrate with everyone, especially since june 1st is ALSO my graduation!! from locksmithing school. so i will have plenty to celebrate.

thanks for any information in advance...i REALLY hope i manage to get to this.

Montreal is beautiful in June. I'd love to come but I'd have to dust off my shred shoes first.

I'll be there if I secure a ride. <3 Tam-Tam!!

Montreal has got to be one of the easiest cities to get around in. The 3 day pass is the way to go. I lived there for a few years, and never had any trouble getting around.

Slap, we can celebrate your B-Day until midnight, then the night is mine! HAHAHAHAH!!! Plus it is like my second home. I may look into renting a condo, if I do, I will let a few people know. But my mother lives there and I should stay with her, but tip-toing back into the place at like 5am, would not be very nice.

I will re-post if I get the condo, it is on Mount Royal, right near the metro stop.

I have to agree with Julien, montreal metros are a good way to get around and every places we going to shred is close to a metro station. Don't use that as an excuse   .

And I just want to add that Mount-Royal is right where the tam-tam jam is happening on sunday. And a nice place to hang-out, the lifestyle and people living there are very easygoing and outgoing.

Hey Chris !! I'm glad to know that you will make it this year again !!

I also hope that we will be more lucky then last year with the weather. With some chance, we will be able to go at the Tam-Tam for a nice shred on the last day of this event!!

About the 3 days pass: If you stay at the UQAM residences, I think that it will be cheaper to buy only tickets!!

Did anybody else has his birthday on that week-end?

I would have been happy to be there for the event. But i have a doctoral day the 4th of june at the Sorbonne (that really sucks). But, i might be there after for a few month (until end september, beginning of october) so we'll have to shred of course. I still have one more year to do in Paris and after, i might get back to live in Montreal, futur will tell.
So i wish a nice event and we keep in touch.

Those who are still undecided here is an important factor to consider:

The Tam-Tam surface has been changed and is better than ever.

Tam-Tam is one of the coolest places to shred in the world, come and enjoy!

I just want to mention the fact that I'm not listed as an attendee is insulting.
