I'd love to go to this event.
Some thoughts...
When: Sooner the better? After worlds?
Who: Assume that Toronto, Hamilton, and Kingston would come. ~20 people? What about the united states?
If you want more than the Toronto/Hamilton/Kingston area, then, more notice is probably better.
Prize goes for routines, or circle? Both?
Venue: Would this be part of a festival, or holiday? Indoor at a gym, outdoor in *ideally* the sun?
What are your goals for the tournament? Have a lot of friends down, enjoy some footbag? Get new players in London?
Depending on your goal, sponsoring a player may or may not be useful. If you want promotion, Jorden and Johnny are plenty awesome enough to do anything. If you want serious business competition, bringing in some extra talent with a cash prize would make people train harder coming up to the event.
