I might drive to this. It sounds like a fun jam. Maybe some of the other Idaho guys will come with me.

oh fo sho, Red

Jaime and her man James will hopefully be in attendance.

Pumped about the growing list of attendees!

Also, while the core of the event is only Saturday and Sunday, I highly recommend coming out for Friday and Monday, too!

Is there gonna be some crash space at this event? Or a host hotel? Is there any official competition or is it just a jam?

I'm pretty sure that there will be enough crash space to put people up. I'm not sure if Justin will be able to put anyone up, so I'll ask him. I'll probably be able to put up a couple three people. If Scott's roomies are down, I'm sure a fair amount of people could be put up. Unfortunately, since there aren't a huge amount of people coming to this jam we won't be trying to secure any discounts at a host hotel.

There won't be any official competition, however if people want to I would love to do some informal competition. Especially interested in trying out Eli's circle competition. If anyone coming has interest in participating in that event, post here so I can see if it's feasible. I doubt we'll bother with Shred 30, but sick 1/3 and rippin' are low-key enough that I think it would be a shame if we didn't just go ahead and do them just for kicks (punny).

yea i'm talking to my room mates to see if they're all right with it and if they are everybody can probably crash here. there's not much room but i think most people agree it's best to have everybody crash at one place. i'll know for sure by this weekend. either way we'll figure out some kind of crash space deal for everybody.

i'm not sure that the room mates are going for it, i think it's too many people for their liking. we'll see what other crash space we can find

So because of Scott's lame ass roommates we no longer have a convenient party spot. :lol: Thus, the schedule is being modified as such:

Saturday = Folklife shred
Saturday night = ... party? very, very tentative -- will have this figured out in a couple of days hopefully
Sunday = either Alki shred and barbeque or more Folklife shred

As far as crash space goes, I'll probably be able to put up about 3 people. Scott says that he can put up a couple people, although I have no idea exactly what his status is regarding this because of his roommates. Scott, please, please post/call/whatever so that we can figure a head count. Justin may or may not be able to put some people up -- again, should be figured out in a couple of days.

If you read this, will you be staying at your sister's so we can safely not worry about crash space for you?

We have crash space for everyone that shows up, for sure. James, if you come, you WILL have a spot to sleep.

Unfortunately, there will not be a party. I'm not hugely worried about this, because I think if people want to go crazy they'll be able to hit up some bars or something.

Get ready for a FUN festival, some crazy shred, and a damn good time people!!

Here's the low down, we have crash space between Scott, Sam, Matt, and I, in all, room for at least 15 people and counting. Last I checked out attendee list wasn't that far yet, so we should be able to accomodate everyone. So far the weather is supposed to get better by this weekend. Hopefully we can get the clouds to break for shred. Looking forward to seeing everyone. This event has had great shred circles and been really fun over the past few years.
