I am so down for this year's Worlds if there's going to be a shred neighborhood full of footbaggers!
With running hot water and the essential toiletries, of course.

"Footbag can be pretty frustrating when it's supposed to be fun. I was partly driven by this forum - practice, practice, practice... As that is true, I think someone can be too focused on progressing and training that they miss the fun aspect of it." - Bander87

of course, we won't stop you from booking your own accomodation and everything, but just this much:
there will be two or three "host" hotels/ hostels. one of them will be entirely ours: 70-80 footbaggers and nobody else.
all of the host ho(s)tels are within a 10 min walking distance of ALL major event sites. so maybe you don't want to jump the gun yet.
before you run off booking something completely different, i advise you check back with us - we might be able to give good advice, and/or point out to you one of our options that makes as much sense.
see you all in 6 months!

Yeah, I feel like the Berlin crew deserves the benefit of the doubt with housing. If it looks bad or half-assed, then I say we can go for alternate arrangements, but I wouldn't want the Berlin crew to lose money or time without being given a chance first.
I was looking through my blog and found my fictional account of Worlds 08 in Berlin. I was off by a year, and some of what I predicted won't occur, but I still found it fun to read. Thought I'd share.

You have to realize, that before actually going to Germany there is no part of american movies or media in general that allows North Americans to think everything doesn't look like "beerfest". Postcards, calendars, etc all scream Bayern. When people come over and don't see leather pants they might wonder why not.
Anyway, now it is becoming more and more of a possibility that I could maybe make this event. I'm looking forward to seeing Berlin again, and you guys seem to be making this a great week in history.

This is just a little reminder:
Please remember that Berlin in the summer months is really really booked out, especially in the cheap hostel category. So please book your bed/room as early as you can. You will always find a bed, but probably not very cheap nor close to the event sides if you book too late.
All the hostels on the website are within short walking distance...
