Ohio Jam

Post by Noah Jay-Bonn » 06 Feb 2003 15:16

Hey, I was thinking about hosting a Jam on the weekend of April 26th (Saturday). Who'd be interested in coming? I have a giant parking area right next to my house (which is right next to the main campus walkway) that we could play on, access to a killer sound system and live DJ, crash space for 20 or so people (bring sleeping bags, or there's a hotel about 10 blocks away) as well as a big projector screen to watch shred videos all night long. Sound good?

I live in Delaware Ohio on the Ohio Wesleyan University Campus which is about twenty minutes northwest of Columbus OH. I'd love to do this, but I want to try and get a sense of how many people would show. I'm thinking about doing shred 30, big 3, and sick 1 for competition, but the entry fee should be pretty low since most of the stuff I already have (just costs me $50 for the sound system). So let me know if you'd show!

doesnt it suck for so many people to check out your poll and vote, but then not know who voted or what they voted? And they dont even reply . . .what assholes! can you believe, at the time i write this, 85 people have see our two polls and not one person besides me even bothered to respond. . .make a jigga wanna cry

Post by bob » 09 Feb 2003 22:30

NOAH! this would be fantastic. if this were done on a date i was available i could make it. this is only about 3 hours for me (says mapquest) but i could probably make it in 2. so just let me know when it is and i will try to get there. if they are willing i could probably get brad nelson and john mahood as well....but i can never be sure with them. i'll ask.

Would a earlier date be better? Like the weekend before Easter? April 12th? Flash messaged me and said he would come but he wont be there that weekend, so maybe the 12th-- that way we can have a BAPer there :D
Yea, Im the only one who voted Hell Yeah! Im There! :x

well i don't wanna say "hell yeah i'm there!" and then not be able to. but my calender is damn empty so i think i'll probably be able to make it for whatever date you set. so just let me know when you figure this out and i'll probably be there.

Slap the tourney on a Sat. I should be able to make it as long as I have somem gas and food money. It's been a good long while since i've been to a footbag event, but, it'd be a nice change of pace for me. Goodluck to ya Noah, just make sure it's not freezing ass cold outside if we shred outside...**Cough Caleb's Shred in Pitt. Cough** Haha, well, I hope to see you somewhat soon.
