Team Japan had chicken-fried steak for the first time last night. It was a success.

First non-white inductee into the Hall of Fame last night -- Tuan Vu.

Byrin played like 5 hours in a row until like 4 in the morning. gyro symp whirl > big apple, big apple > food, gyro butterfly reverse swirl, flurricane

Penske hit high plains swifter amongst other stuff.

Shred :30 has been scored, but not released yet.

I'll have updates from finals tonight later.

2-Square
Kool Kolo 11 -- Sam Colclough 7
Sebastien Duchesne 11 -- Daryl Genz 4
Sebastien Duchesne 15 -- Kool Kolo 9
Did one of these guys take out Steve or did Steve not play? Damn, I bet those were fun matches. You know, I've never 2S-ed against any of the Montrealers.

Oxana had a great routine with only three drops.

Tina had a really good, difficult routine with with about 5 drops. She hit a few fives in it as well.

Milan had quite a few drops (about 7).

Dan did his semifinals routine with two drops.

David Clavens had a great DROPLESS routine to 'Prince Ali' from Aladin. He ties Kenny as being the only people to do three dropless routines at Worlds.

Jim did his routine to the song from Amelie. One drop with a really solid, difficult section in the middle. Excellent routine!

Phil did his semifinals routine almost flawlessly with only one little drop. It will be interesting to see how the results come out. Tough competition.

Bevier had a dropless routine as well.

Honza had one drop at the very end on food processor.

Vasek went dropless and did a modified version of his semifinals routine. Ended on whirr > whirr > whirr > barroque.

Thanks for the updates Mike :)

I'm a little confused about the comment about Dave Clavens being being the only other person to have 3 dropless routines at worlds. Do you mean at the one event? Didn't Vasek go completely dropless for 3 rounds at worlds 2003? Maybe I'm mistaken.

Yeah, at one event. I don't think Vasek did at '03.

Yeh i also thought Vasek went dropless all 3 rounds in 2003.

Gotta give big congratulations to all the competitors esp Vasek with yet another World title under his belt, and to Dan and Phil for rocking so hard into the finals, thats awesome!
Great job Dave making BAP too.

The Mike Marshall award is for recognizing someone who has given a lot to further the sport in the past year. Chris put lots of time, energy, and effort into making this year's worlds happen.
