Berlin Footbag Summer 2008 - 4 dorm beds left

Post by Paulsator » 05 Apr 2008 07:27

***

you can still register @

http://www.fcfootstar.de/footbagsummer/

We have 30 registrations already for the dorm. Only 10 dormbeds are left for the price of 100€/week (which is really cheap)

only 40 places at hostel... (maybe more possible)

if all places are taken we wont be able to ensure u an inexpensive accomodation. It will probably not be possible to find private sleeping places.

***

OK people!
Here's the deal.
As you might have heard yours FC Footstar is once again organizing a week of after worlds footbag fun, party and chillout in europe's currently most exciting city - Berlin.

The

BERLIN FOOTBAG SUMMER 2008

will be taking place in the week of august 18-24th directly after Worlds in Prague will have finished.

Very soon online registration will be available.
It is VERY important that you register as soon as possible as there will be a shuttle bus (~3h, about 60 seats) running on sundy from prague to berlin at very low cost and we only have a hostel reservation for 60 people.

We will therefore offer you an unbeatable deal for the week.
The exact price is yet to be determined but including transport from prague to berlin, one week hostel (see sunflower-hostel.de - very beautiful and perfectly centraly located), and a one-week berlin public transport system ticket it will cost around 150-170 euros (without the public transport ticket around 25 less).

So make up your minds soon and reserve your spot in this year's footbag fun event not to be missed.

http://www.footbag.org/events/show/1204634358

The last edition of the BFC in 06 was a huge success and a ton of fun.
Hope to see a lot of you here very soon to shred and party hard!

If I make it to Worlds, I'm considering this. I'll know more later, but my girlfriend is living in a small town in Bavaria until after Worlds some time, so we may want to check out Berlin after Worlds anyway (she is actually in Berlin right now)!

All of my money is going towards trying to make Europe this year, so here's to hoping!

PS: If there's room, would it be plausible to get a ride on the bus to Berlin even if we weren't planning to stay for the whole week of shred? Curious.

for all the couples i think we can also arrange double rooms, which will be more expensive of course (like 40-45 euros a night for 2 persons).
I think to ensure a bed in the 60 people dorm contingent you will have to pay the whole week (100 euro for the dorm)
The bus will probably be bookable extra.
So dont worry everything will work out.

hasta luego

Aleksej,

to clarify things:

you canbook the dorm option only for the whole week (100 euros per person for the whole week in 3-8 people dorms)

the single and double rooms can be rented on a daily basis (40-45 euros per room per day, if you stay 7 nights the 7th night will be free)

so please drop us a note on how you wanna have your accomodation when you dont take the dorm option when you register (in your case, write me a pm)
