Events
Open Routines
Sunday December 27 - 1pm
Please have your routine music turned in to Scott's booth by 12:30, and any heads up on planning to enter routines would be appreciated
Intermediate Routines/Circle
Sunday December 27 - Shred Room
We'll either do routines or circle depending on interest of the participants, please sign up at the event booth that day & let us know which one you want to do - we'll do whichever event has more interest.
Open Circle
Monday December 28 - 1pm
Sign up any time before 12:30 the day of the event
Other Comps
Monday December 28 - Shred Room
If anyone wants to do request, sick 1 or sick 3, or other inventive new formats, this is the best time to do them.
Of course if there's time and interest to run other quick competitions, we can probably squeeze those in. But its only a two day event so we're trying not to overplan. Which is easy.

Welcome FREEDOM FOOTBAGS (www.freedomfootbags.com) as a sponsor for the event. They will be providing a prize package for the event. Thanks to Sunny and Daryl for their support! My personal favorite footbags.
Music format: Make sure to have your music on an MP3 player. We do NOT have a CD player or a computer to feed from, we are literally feeding directly into the sound system. So bring your music on an mp3 player or ipod.
There are 2 events going on at a single site, the New Years Jam is NOT a tournament but a fun jam event. The Midwest Regionals is a tournament and runs at the same site.
We will not get rid of 'stale' routines because that format is still the true interpretation of footbag performance. Other events have been created over time to make new players more comfortable in competition, but no event outside of Routines offers the performance aspect where the player needs to connect with the footbag and the audience. As long as I am around (and I'll be around for a long time), we will continue to offer Routines. We will always run experimental events as well.

I was kidding. I'm just jealous of anyone with the patience to put together/ stamina to perform a routine.enlightener wrote: We will not get rid of 'stale' routines because that format is still the true interpretation of footbag performance. I am considering making a last ditch attempt to attend this event. Would anybody be able to squeeze me into their room on the 27th/28th? Shoot me a PM (including room list and est. cost/person for your room).
Thankee sai!
Thankee sai!
