Post by Reid » 24 Feb 2011 06:47

The 5th Annual Wine and Cheese and Jam

When: April 9th and 10th

Where: Chicago!!

Accommodations: Chicago is renowned for it's architecture, boasting great architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and though you will probably see some of their great works you wont be staying at any of them. Instead couch and floor space can be provided and there are numerous hotels in the area.

Synopsis: Considered by many to be the classiest footbag event of the year, the Wine and Cheese and Jam is a fun filled footbag weekend emphasized by its all you can eat cheese flight and party. While our footbaggers remain in the beautiful and vibrant chicago, they will experience the fjords of norway, the gondolas of venice, the dells of wisconsin, the utters of a spanish goat and much more through the cheeses of the world featured at this event. All cheeses will be paired with the perfect Carlo Rossi that best compliments each cheeses flavor and allows for merry imbibition.

Awwwwww yeah.

I'm challenging Reid to a cheese off. I don't even know what that means, but I stand by it.

That's alright there is always next year Donovon. Have fun at the recital.

Zach H. there are also many buses and public transportation that come into Chicago. Though not always the most comfortable or expedient usually reasonably priced. Look into amtrak, greyhound, or megabus as possibilities.

As always the stankier the better Tom.

Nicholas I think you meant "that's what cheese said."

Zach J. I'm assuming the clear of the throat was you about to say "I'm coming."

And as for you Mr. Andersen, keep in mind that I have never lost in a cheese off. And if, with that in mind you still choose to compete against me in the cheese dome, which I know you will, know that we play for keepsies. Two men enter one man leaves!

Wow, wine & cheese is this weekend...

(I had to put on a jacket and tie before making that comment, just to maintain this event's classy reputation.)

Someone wear a shirt with my picture on it. And rub cheese on it. And write funny names on the wine bottles.
