Boise Rec Fest Jam 2011 June 25th-26th

Post by Zeb Jackson » 24 Feb 2011 15:39

Was wondering who would be interested in coming to Idaho for a footbag Jam in June, We will also have our annual one in September as far as i know.

Here is some information about the rec fest. Those who came down last year had a blast, we shredded, did a demo or 2 and had a nice bbq with John Stalberger himself in attendance.

more information at this website:
http://www.boiserecfest.com/
The second annual Boise Rec Fest will be held on June 25-26, 2011 in Ann Morrison Park near downtown Boise.

Boise Rec Fest is a FREE, two-day community-wide celebration of recreational activities available throughout Idaho.

At Boise Rec Fest you can experience Idaho recreation firsthand. Specialists in recreational sports, equipment, and apparel will be available to demonstrate their wares. Workshops, interactive booths and fun activities will be available — creating the perfect environment for families to hang out and stay healthy together. Live music, Idaho wines, beers and local food vendors will also be on hand.

Whether you’re an avid recreationalist or a “newbie,” you will find great recommendations and instruction on taking advantage of Boise’s outdoors. The festival is open to people of all ages and abilities and features recreational activities from all seasons, indoors and out, motorized and human-powered
For those who want to come We have plenty of floors space for people to stay at. Also June is prime time to float the Boise River, and there are many other things to do here.

this would be more of a relaxed jam as the us open and worlds would be just around the corner :)

let me know if you guys are interested. :)

Train tickets are only $94 for roundtrip. I would enjoy a trip to Boise in the summer.

I would love to make it, but it's just a few days after I start work. I'll be saving it up for the U.S. Open in August. There are no trains to Boise, btw, but there are daily buses from Spokane, Portland, and Salt Lake.
